His brow furrowed deeply. The information he received contradicted Catherine's own words.
Prince Deniz glanced disapprovingly at Ayla. She always managed to capture the hearts of others. Even the queen mother cared so much about Ayla.
"Then why don't you set the record straight, Cath?" asked Catherine's father.
"Didn't I tell Prince Deniz," said Catherine as she trotted over to Ayla who was dressed as a dungeon keeper.
"Thank you," said Catherine as she extended her right hand towards Ayla. "When they abandoned me when my horse fell over, you who I always underestimated helped me. I'm sorry for insulting you, Ayla."
