We had Carly with us for a total of three weeks and two days. And let me tell you, when Connor said that she wasn't sweet all of the time, he wasn't lying.
It had started out alright. We would all wake up in the morning, get ready for work and school and have breakfast. At the table, while she was eating, I would fix her hair. Then Connor would take off to school with her and Gerald and I would go to work. It was good. She was funny and cute and didn't act up at all.
It wasn't until we were about five days in that Connor linked me while he was in class and asked me if I could go up to the school for her because there had been an incident. He was in the middle of an exam and couldn't go, so I agreed.
