We drove to the Luna's ceremony in silence. Meredith was still stewing and Ford was trying his hardest not to piss her off even more.
I placed my hand on her shoulder from the backseat, hoping that I didn't make anything worse. She leaned into my touch and sighed loudly.
"I just hate that you're going to be gone half the night. Like, we don't see you all day and then you have to leave at night now too? Not only that, but you're going to be with her and I just don't trust her! She's disgusting and I should have never been friends with her to begin with. She won't care about cheating on Josh."
