Gerald The Harvest Moon Ball was a few weeks away and I was sitting in the conference room in the middle of the packhouse. It was a wide room with a long table in the center. The walls surrounding the outside wall leading into the room were made of glass. Wolves were milling in slowly, and took seats around the table. The wolves who came in last were left to stand around the table. Alpha Matthew and Alpha Jack stood at the head of the table with their arms crossed over their chests, looking as intimidating as any wolf should be allowed to look.
