Matt “You’ll have to tell me where we’re going eventually, so it might as well be now.” Matt grinned next to James in his Mazda. A Mazda, for a Santa Monica rich kid from the upper side of town. The guy was just a walking contradiction. “So it may as well be later, then, since it doesn’t matter when you find out.” Matt shook his head and chuckled. He didn’t have anything to say to that. James looked at him sideways before saying, “Not used to someone using your fine logic against you?” James mocked him humorously, his eyes dancing. “I just really hate surprises,” Matt mumbled and stared out the window.
