Matt Matt hovered in front of his brother’s closed door. His hands were still muggy from the dishwater and were getting clammier as he hesitated. He rubbed his palms against his eyes, wondering why his brother had to be such hard work. He dove headfirst and knocked on the door. There wasn’t any answer but the bass of music coming from inside the room died down. He took that as his cue and pushed the door open. Brian sat on his favorite spot at the headboard staring out over the neighborhood. He had the best view in the house and loved it. “James is coming over to watch a movie soon, wanna join us?” Brian ignored him for a moment, then turned to stare at Matt.
