Chapter 16: May
Brian
“I love you, bro.” Brian’s voice was muffled as he spoke into Matt’s hair, but his brother had heard him.
Matt pulled deeper into him, increasing the hug, and sinking his head into Brian’s chest. “I love you, too.”
They pulled away and Brian stared at his brother who looked much too adorable in his black gown. He brushed away a tear from under Matt’s eye and scoffed. “You’re not going to cry on me, are you?”
“Me?” Matt grinned at him.
Brian pulled him into another hug then led them down the pathway with his arm around his brother’s shoulders.
“You won’t, like, annoy me at Columbia like you did in school, will you?”
“You hope I’ll annoy you as much as I did,” Matt said. “And who says it wasn’t you who annoyed me all these years?”
“Me?” Brian grinned in return.
