“Princess,” She tickled her and the younger bursted into laughter grabbing hold of Evelyn's hair.

“You are cheating,” Ava pouted her lips and Evelyn chuckled.

“No morning kiss?” Ava said, still pouting her lips and Evelyn rolled her eyes before placing a kiss on her cheek.

“Go take your bath first, I will prepare your breakfast,” She said and Ava nodded.

“Aren’t you gonna be late for work?” The little one asked.

“Nope, now go take your bath,” Evelyn said and roughing the younger her making her smile showing her white teeth.

Evelyn smiles and walks out of the room.

“Haris,” She called loudly when she saw no one on the couch.

“I am here,” he yells from the kitchen.

You must be wondering if he stays with them. No but sometimes he just stays with them.

“Hey go take your bath, have got this,” He said as she walked into the kitchen and she just nodded walking away.

“Don’t get into a fight at school,” Evelyn said and Ava nodded before hugging her.

“Bye,” She waves and enters the school bus.

“Let go Haris,” She said and tried to enter the car but stopped when two cars drove into the compound.

They rush out of the car and open the door for him while he steps out majestically.

His eyes move to Haris and he frowns, glaring at him.

“Geez, I can’t remember offending this guy,” Haris said, looking away from me.

“You are going to enter my car to work,” He Said, more like an order and evelyn scoffs.

“No, I will enter Haris' car,” She said boldly and Martin scoffed.

He hates it when she doesn’t obey him.

“Evelyn you are going to do whatever I say else…..”

She cut him off.

“Excuse you, you come into my house to threaten me.” She yells and Haris just scoffs, staring confused at them.

He smirked, staring at her and Evelyn narrowed her eyes trying to observe him.

He might try to punish him, and wouldn’t give her money for her mother's treatment.

She can’t risk that.

“Fine,” She hissed and turned around.

“Okay bestie I will see you later,” She waved and entered the car while Haris just smiled.

He knows something was up with them but he wouldn’t ask Evelyn.

Martin has a smirk on his face as he stare at Evelyn who was sitting beside him.

He bit his lips admiring her and he could swear he wanted to kiss her.

She was dressed in a purple jean trouser and a white long sleeve making her look professional.

Evelyn was uncomfortable with the way he was staring at her but didn’t say anything.

She sighs when she feels his hand on her thighs and she slaps his hand off.

“Get your f*****g hands far away from me,” She warned and martin just rolled his eyes.

He did not touch her again but with the way he was staring at her was making her feel uncomfortable.

She looks outside of the window trying to avoid his gaze but she just couldn’t.

He placed his hand on the jaw and continued staring at her.

“Can you please stop staring at me,” She said, turning around to look at her.

“Nope, you are just so pretty,” He said and Evelyn stared at him for a while before turning away from him.

“Sir we are here,” the driver said as he parked the car and Evelyn quickly stepped out of the car while a guard rushed and opened the door for him.

As they walk towards the company the staff bow down. They stare at them with surprise as they walk past them.

“Evelyn,” She heard someone scream and when she turned around she found Elizabeth waving at her and she waved back.

Her eyes move to a corner and she meets Grace…. staring at her with pure hatred.

“Hmmm check my schedules for today, and get me some coffee,” He said as they walked into his office.

She brought out the notepad from her bag and opened it.

“You have a business date with Mrs Tasha at 1pm, you have a business meeting at 4:30 pm and ... .and you are visiting Mrs Jackson at the hospital,” She read.

“Wait…. isn’t that my mother?” She asked and Martin just rolled his eyes but didn’t answer him anyway.

“What the hell do you think you are doing by visiting my mum,” Evelyn said angrily to Martin huff.

“I am giving you the money to pay today and I want to be there,” He said and Evelyn sighs.

While they were dating, they were both close to each other. Her mother loves him so much and has always wished they could get married and seeing him today, she might pressure her to get married to him.
