Nyla's POV
After crying out my feelings, I could feel a sense of peace for now. Now that I'm done crying,I have another problem to face right now. Van's secretary Stephen saw me crying and I felt so embarrassed for showing him.
“Mrs. Adair, are you okay?” He asked nervously,
Of course not, why would I be okay when you just witness me crying like an i***t?! Way to ask an obvious question Sir Stephen. But I'll forgive you for now because of what you did earlier.
“ So I heard Van left you some instructions. What was it?” I asked, instead of answering his question.
“ He said to bring you back to his office, whether you like it or not” He replied,
Maybe I have a chance of escaping Van's Secretary" If I insist on leaving, what will you do?” I asked again with hope in my voi
