Chapter IV: Well Hello You

Chapter IV

“You!” I semi-shouted while I pointed at him “What the hell are you doing here?!” I stated while hugging him. It was Evan my Prom date in Senior Year. Yes the one that dance with me while I had a red stain on me. Even though that accident happened he was pretty cool about it and we stayed in contact after graduation.

“wow hello to you too hahahaha, I see you missed your prom date and crush” he said while hugging me back. “oh f**k off that was like before summer, months have passed now and so was my crush for you". I replied sipping on my drink again.

“oh yeah like you didn’t gush when you asked me to be your prom date ‘oh Evan you are so handsome and so perfect please whisk me off my feet by becoming my prom date’” He said in a dramatically high pitched voice.

“I didn’t know you were such a writer, making up stories like that because as far as I can remember you were the one who ask me shyly in the parking lot after school” Yeah I had a crush on him but never did I have the guts to confront him about it. “ok maybe yours has a little more truth but let’s agree to disagree yeah?” He greeted miles like they were bros which earned a confused look from me.

“oh right I never answered your question earlier. I’m kyle’s cousin and I always visit here when I get the chance, but now I don’t need to wait for chances cause I‘m staying here baby” He cheered and miles cheered with him.

“wait for real? What a small world huh. Anyways you know why I’m here so there’s that. I need to go find Alina because who knows what kind of trouble that girl is in being gone for almost an hour” I said standing up drink in hand.

“I’ll catch you later Evan alright”

“Oh… ok I’ll make sure of that” he replied with a wink and proceeded to chat with miles.

Huh what did he mean by that. Maybe it’s just because he’s also technically a part of this household so we’re bound to see each other later lol.

I made my way through the crowd which doubled since the time we arrived and began to look for Alina. I was amazed of the interior of the house though which made me forget what I was supposed to be doing in the first place and ended up strolling the house admiring the art in it.

They have a bunch of what it seems like paintings from the renaissance which blended oddly perfectly with the modern theme this property has. I continued strolling and saw the backyard with less people so I went there to take a breather. I like parties but I just need to have a break from all the partying sometimes. 

I walked near the pond which is located close to the end of the property that had the woods beyond it. I sat on the grass and stared at the water that reflected the moonlight and some of the lights from the party. This moment is beautiful and relaxing and the slightly cool breeze is really helping my nerves. I closed my eyes and Breathed in and out a bunch of times and when I opened my eyes to look in the water again, I was startled by a figure standing close behind me which almost made me splash in the water if not for the stranger getting a hold of me.

"I'm sorry I startled you" The person said and when I looked up I sighed in relief noticing it was just evan.

"Yeah no s**t sherlock. How did I not notice you coming near me?" I replied steadying myself and standing up to look at him. "heh well the music is still kind of loud even from this distance and you look like you were at peace and I did not want to ruin that" he said "plus I came looking for you after I saw Alina In the kitchen dry humping with my cousin, and I asked her where you are since you said you would go look for her, and when she said she never saw you I began worrying" he continued looking at me straight in the eyes.

"Awe I knew you were a soft sweet guy but not this soft" I chuckled slightly teasing him

"Oh sweetheart there is nothing soft about this guy if you continue teasing me" He replied eyes going slightly darker and more intense. I was speechless and just kept staring at him obviously turned on but I'm gonna make the alcohol as an excuse to what I'm feeling right now.

Noticing how I got quite he instantly exclaims "HA! I got you, how's that for teasing. Come on there's still a party to enjoy and drinks to chug plus it's getting a little chilly out here, we don't want you to catch a cold now do we" I eased up after hearing him come back to his senses. I am not against having s*x but I just never found the right opportunity with someone to do so, so my cooch just have to wait.

We started to head back to the house when I heard rustling beyond the pond, I looked back and I saw two pair of blue eyes. Assuming my eyes are playing tricks on me because of the alcohol, I rubbed my eyes and looked again only to find nothing but the darkness the forest possessed. "Hey you coming?" I looked back at Evan "oh uh yep head just got dizzy for a second" 

"we'll hurry up slowpoke" he chuckled and I looked back for the last time making sure I saw nothing, and I confirmed I am slightly intoxicated.
