Chapter V

As we were returning to the party some guys called Evan over “Hey I’m just gonna go say hi to them ok? You wanna wait for me or you want to- you know what come with me I’ll introduce you to them” He said and practically dragged me before I can answer.

“Hey guys how are you doing? It’s been a while” Evan said while ‘Bro hugging’ the group one by one. “Evan my guy! You have been away for too long you missed a lot” One guy with light brown hair exclaimed. “You missed Lucas Absolutely get wrecked by Malachi in chess bro, you know how those two get so competitive when it comes to that sport” He continued and he spots me, creepily eyeing me from head to toe that it kind of made me uncomfortable. I think Evan noticed because he introduced me next

“Oh right, guys this is Zelenia. She’s new here along with her cousin. She was my prom date in my last year of High school back in the US.”

“Hello everyone, It’s nice to meet you all” I smiled as nicely as I can but kind of faltered near the end as one of the guys whistled at me.

“Ooohh Evan you got yourself a nice hot momma. Good job dude just by the looks of it she a little juicy too I bet she bounces nice” a blonde haired guy said as he patted evan’s back as if he just won something. Evan was about to defend me as he knows I don’t like being treated as such but I stopped him.

“Hey, yeah you who just whistled like a flat tire, I know we just met and all but I would appreciate it if you don’t treat me as if I’m some hooker Evan got from the streets and if you thought I would take that as a compliment then you’re damn wrong. Work on your complimenting skills more ok?” I said having lost my smile a long time ago, having my head high seeing he faltered at my outspokenness.

“I’m sorry uh zelenia was it? I’ll take note of your suggestion” He replied as if completely under a spell obeying instantly, which gave evan a reason to cough as it become suddenly quiet. “anywayss where is Lucas and Malachi? I thought I would see them earlier than I expected today.” Trying to change the topic and brushed out what just happened, he successfully got a reply

“Oh Lucas is probably still on his way, you know how that guys despises parties and as for Malachi, well, probably in one of the rooms ‘studying’ with someone” replied by the light brown haired guy putting emphasize on the word studying.

“Studying in a party? Wow dude must have a reputation in school.” I said with a shocked face. “reputation? Yeah I would say that” as they kind of smirked knowingly.

Ok there has to be something about the reputation of this guy that’s different and I am intrigued as to what it is. We talked a bit more until I got bored and excused myself to get another drink because my gorgeous drink was long gone and so was the lightheaded feeling I felt earlier.

Strolling back into the house I struggled to get back to the roof top where the bar was. I was turning a corner when I bumped into someone’s chest and fell back on my bum. “Ow geez, I’m sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going” The person held their hand out and said simultaneously “No it was my fault, here let me help you up”

I felt butterflies when I heard the persons voice, I looked up as I was accepting their help when I saw who it was and instantly stumbled back down. I stared at him obviously shocked as he was recognizing who I am. “It’s you…” he said having so much emotions in his eyes. Shocked, amazed, adored..? lust…? I swear it even got darker at some point.

Realizing I was still on the floor in front of the man that caught me watching him getting pleasured, I instantly tried to get up and said sorry in attempt to run away out of embarrassment but he called me. “wait! I need to talk to you for a bit” he said getting closer to my now standing self and wow was he tall. My neck hurt just by looking up at him. “If this is about earlier today I’m sorry for that too, I am not going to tell anyone I saw you in the library getting eatin by someon-“ before I could finish he put his hand on my mouth to shut me up but he gasped as he did so. “I- come with me” he dragged me in an empty room.

-Unknowns POV-

When I was finished hooking up with some girl I already forgot the name of, I was on my way to the rooftop when I got a whiff of the most gorgeous smell I encountered ealier today. I followed it walking speedily to the direction of the smell when someone bumped into me, I about to instantly help them up but I heard the most wonderful voice I ever heard. “Ow geez, I’m sorry I wasn’t looking where I was going” said the girl “No it was my fault, here let me help you up” I replied with the softest voice I can manage.

That is when she looked up at me I found myself staring lovingly back at those caramel coloured orbs she possessed and I also realized she was the source of the smell “It’s you…” I said implying her to be my mate but she panicked which made me confused. She was about to run away but thankfully I stopped her successfully. “If this is about earlier today I’m sorry for that too, I am not going to tell anyone I saw you in the library getting eatin by someon-“ she rambled as I remembered what happened today and realized it was her and my wolf mentally stabbed me for being unloyal to our mate. I shut her mouth with my hand only to feel sparks that almost made me cream on the spot but I noticed she did not react at all which made me question and my wolf sad, but then realized as her scent hit me. Human...

“I- come with me” I dragged her into an empty room and sat her on the bed. “Listen I need to tell you something” I told her unable to look at her in the eyes as I know I’ll hesitate saying what I need to “what is it…?” she replied with her soft angelic voice that made me look at her. God my heart just stopped beating for a second which made my next move much harder. “I suggest you cover your ears for this darling” I said putting a strand of her hair behind her ear. “ok… even though you dragged me here to tell me something” she mumbled the last part assuming I’m not going to hear it, it made me fall for her more as the sass oozed out from her pretty little mouth.

With her covering her ears I finally talked “I did not want to do this, but smelling you are human I have to. I Malachi Stone…” I needed to look at her in the eyes to do this but it makes it harder. “..I- I Malachi Stone…” I keep stuttering and when she noticed me taking my time she tilted her head, Oh man “I-“

“I can’t hear you but do you need help saying what you need to say?” is all it took that broke me as I smashed my lips into hers.
