Chapter 47

The college day is finally started. I can wait to meet new classmates and the lectures. My first class of today: British Poetry. I'm ready for this. I entered the class and sit in the front row beside a blonde girl. I dont know her name.

"Hi I'm Melissa Edwards and you?" The girl smiled at me and pull out a hand for me to shake.

"Emily Hudson." I smiled back and shake her hand.

"Wait, Emily Hudson? Seems like your name sounded familiar to me." She raised her eyebrows and thinking. I just frowned, I just met her today and she said that my name sounded familiar to her. How many people in this earth who has same name with me?

"Ah I remember, Sam Evans's girlfriend right?" She asked and pointed the name that I dont want to hear anymore.

"Not anymore. He dated someone else." I said.

"What? Sam didnt tell me!" She almost yelled.

"You're his friend?" I frowned.

"Yes. We were neighborhood when he was lived in Kentucky but until now we still keep in touch, Stacey and Stevie also told me about you. I'm kind of his closest friend." She said.

"Sam, never told me about you." I simply said.

"Oh he might think that you would be jealous if you know that he has a girl closest friend." She smiled at me. "The cat that he gave you, that was me who helped him to bought it for you. He doesnt know about any kind of cats so he asked me." She grinned.

"Thank you. My twin brother really loves that cat and gave him a name with Sammie." I half smiled.

"Yeah, he can help me sometimes, so do I. But he didnt tell me that you both already broke up and he dates someone else." She said sadly.

"It was about two weeks ago and now he dates someone else in the glee club." I said. I dont know it's true or not but I heard a rumour that Sam and Rachel are dating, I might not a student of McKinley anymore but I'm still a part of them, I can get any news from them and no one of the glee club tell me about this to me.

Suddenly someone cover my eyes with his hand. I know it's a guy's hand.

"Guess who." A husky familiar voice.

"Jonas Altberg, of course." I chuckled.

He pulled his hand from my eyes. "Haha good morning, Em." Jonas said.

"Morning! Where did you came from?" I asked because I dont see him enter the class.

"That back door, then I saw you here so I came here." Jonas said as he pointed out at the back door in the class.

"Haha I guess you should go out from here before your fans come around and kidnap you." I laughed.

"You're right. Well I have to go, see you at lunch, Em and you too, blonde." Jonas waves good bye and walked off.

"He is hot! Who is he?" Melissa asked.

"Jonas Altberg, my friend and he is one grade higher than us. He is a male model of US Vogue." I said.

"I though he was your boyfriend. Is he single?" Melissa frowned.

"He is single." I grinned.

"Sadly, I had a boyfriend and I love my boyfriend so much." Melissa said.

"Dont cheating dear." I chuckled.

"I wont." She smiled.

The lecturer finally comes to the classroom and we begin the class. British Poetry. I would love it.

** Sam's P.O.V **

I started dating Rachel since a week ago. A week after me and Emily broke up. Deep down I'm still have a feeling for Emily but I think it's better than keep thinking someone else who lives far away from you and maybe I can forget her and move on by dating Rachel.

All the rest of the glee club knew about this. Finn is okay with that, he doesnt blame or anything else and we talked like usual.

I grabs my book from my locker. Emily's photo is still stuck in my locker and it made me sad sometimes. I let out a sigh and close my locker. Suddenly my phones vibrating, a text from Melissa? What happened?

From: Melissa

Y dont you tell me that you and Emily brokes up and you dated someone else? Y Sam?

I frown at her text. How could she knows about this? I didnt tell her. We lived in the different town.

To: Melissa

How could you know about that?

From: Melissa

The fact is we are in the SAME college and she is sitting beside me right now. I asked her name and when she told me her name, I remember about you

To: Melissa

Then what she said?

From: Melissa

You broke up with her since two weeks ago and she said that you dated someone else in the glee club

How the hell Emily knows about that? Is Puck tell her? Impossible, I just cant believe this. Well, forget her Sam, just forget her.

"Hey Sammy!" Rachel come to me.

"Hey babe! Wanna have lunch together?" I asked.

"Sure." Rachel holds my elbow and we walked into the cafetaria together.

We then took seats in the glee club table where the rest already there. This Friday we will have Sectionals. Finn and Rachel will lead the first song. Well I dont care about that, I dont really love Rachel anyway this isnt a love song so I'm not worry about that.

"Can someone help me with this sucks chemistry? Oh Lord." Mike yelled.

"Call Emily then." Kurt simply said.

"It seems like not you, Mike." Joe frowned.

"Oh you guys have to know that my weakness is chemistry but my chemistry partner went away." Mike let out a sigh.

"Why dont you just go to the library and find the geeky one then ask them? Or find a book." Santana rolled her eyes.

"You're right! Artie, come with me!" Mike yelled and pushing Artie's wheelchairs and they gone.

"A call from Emily!" Kurt suddenly said. Then answer it and loudspeaker it.

"KURTTTTTT!" She yelled.

"Can you stop yelling at me?" Kurt rolled his eyes.

"Sorry but I wanna ask." Emily said.

"You want to ask shall you accept or not Jonas invitation to have dinner with you?" Kurt asked.

"What? No. He didnt say anything." Emily said.

"Ops sorry Jonas I told her." Kurt hissed. "Then what?" Kurt asked.

"Shall I join the glee club here or not?" Emily asked.

Kurt looked into the other face. We are nodded. "YOU SHOULD!" We yelled together at the same time.

"Did you speakers my calls?!" Emily yelled.

"Sorry baby. So you just got the answer." Kurt said.

"Then what song I should sing for the auditions?" Emily asked.

"Defying Gravity." Kurt simply answer.

"Somebody To Love." Finn answer.

"The Only Exception!" Rachel yelled.

"My Cup." Brittany said.

"Edge of Glory." Tina said.

"Dark Side." Mercedes said.

"Teenage Dream." Blaine said.

"YOU GUYS MAKE ME CONFUSED!" Emily yelled. "Well I'm about to sing The Scientist by Coldplay." Emily said.

"Then. Why. You. Asking. Me?" Kurt rolled his eyes.

"Hehe I just wanna know your opinion." Emily giggled. "Anyway about the dinner, what do you mean?" Emily asked.

Kurt's face showed 'damn!' Face words. "Oh no, it was nothing. Blaine asked me to have a dinner." Kurt said then looked into Blaine face to make him say something.

"Ah y-yes. We will have a dinner in breadstix tonight." Blaine said.

"I miss fettucine carbonara in breadstix." Emily said. "Well I have to go. Bye. Talk to you later." Emily hung up the phones.

Kurt let out a sigh. "Just hope that she wont ask anything to Jonas or Jonas wont talk to me again."

"What happened?" Finn asked.

"Jonas told me, he has a plan to ask Emily for a dinner just hope that girl will forget it." Kurt sighs.

"Dont worry, Emily can be stupid at this topic. She is smart in academic but can be the stupid one in other things." Finn said.

"So Hummel and that guy are friends now." Santana said.

"Yeah kind of." Kurt said.

"If Emily accept his invitation, my phones will ring after this and she will say 'I have a date, what shall I wear?'" Mercedes chuckled.

So that guy will ask her to have a dinner. Cute. Then she will get sick and forget about the dates. Forget her Sam, forget her.

"Sam, you're fine if me and Rachel have a lead duet?" Finn asked.

"Why should I worry? That isnt a love song anyway, we cant change it then because it will be held tomorrow." I said to Finn.

"Dont worry, the setlist for the sectionals is no love songs." Mercedes said.

"Yep." I agreed. Rachel place her head on my chest as she hold my elbow.

"My chemistry is finally done!" Mike and Artie walked back to cafetaria.

"And you know who is the one helped Mike?" Artie said.

"Who?" Mercedes asked.

"Raphael Rodriguez." Artie simply answer.

"Raphael the mexican guy with black haired guy?" Puck asked.

"Remember that you also black haired guy, Puck." Kurt rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I never know that he is smart but sadly he is a jerk but thank him." Mike said.

"Most jerk are smart." Puck said proudly.

"You are not, Puck." Quinn rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, if you are smart you wont studied hard for the project that day." Santana said.

"I was afraid if Emily mad at me that day. You know that she can be a monster when she got mad." Puck said.

The others just laughed.

The bells rings.

We walked out from the cafetaria to our classroom.

"See you, Sammy!" Rachel hug me then walks off. I wave her a good bye.

"I guess we need to talk." A voice behind me. I turned my face and it is Blaine.

"About?" I frowned.

"You." Blaine simply answer.

"Why me?" I asked.

"Sam, this isnt you. This is someone else. How could you move on too fast from Emily and dated Rachel?" Blaine asked.

"You said that we have to move on right? And this is my way to moved on." I said to Blaine.

"I know you dont love Rachel." Blaine said.

"I do love her but not as much as I love Emily. Blaine, this is sucks, you know what I felt everytime she called one of us, or post something on our group chats those made me sick. Please understand, I have to forget her. Moreover when she told us about that male guy, those made me sick. I'm trying to love Rachel and forget Emily." I said.

"Come here." Blaine grabs my hand and we walked into another place and stop in front of Emily's locker. "Open it. You know her code." Blaine said. I open the locker, and find the locker without any stuff only stickers and some paper stick on it.

"I love Sam Evans..." I hissed to what I see, a paper stick on it write the words that I hissed.

"See? She left it there. She left some of her feelings here for you." Blaine said.

I close the locker. "Blaine, help me to move on. Support me dont blame me like this please."

"I just see that this isnt you. You can date anyone else to move on but keep being yourself, Sam. Dont change yourself for other people." Blaine said then left me.

Yeah it isnt me. I'm changed myself because of someone else. I'm not Sam Evans, I'm someone else. Blaine is right. I dont have to change because of someone else.

** Emily's P.O.V **

I'm standing in front of the choir room. I'm never been nervous like this before. I'll be auditioning for my glee club in college.

"You come in and I'll record it to you." Jonas shocked me and bring a handycam.

"That's mine." I raised my eyebrows.

"Oh yeah, I got in from your table." Jonas chuckled.

"NEXT!"

"Good luck, Emily!" Jonas cheer me up.

I walked into the choir room and standing in front of two judges. "My name is Emily Hudson, I'm majoring English Language and Literature. I'd like for an audition." I said.

"Have you ever had experience on a glee club before?" The man judges asked.

"Yes. I joined the glee club in my high school and we also won the sectionals, regionals and nationals last year." I said.

"Show us your talent." The woman said.

I give a paper to the pianist for him to play a song then I start singing.

"Welcome to UC Berkeley glee club, Stereo Voice." The judges smiled at me. I got it! I made it!

"Thank you!" I smiled back at them.

"Here is our glee club schedule. See you at the class." The woman smiled, gave me a paper. I smiled back and walked off. I see Jonas standing there and smiling so I run up to him and suddenly hug him.

"I got it! I got into the choir room back!" I yelled as I still hug him until I realize that the others just looking at us. So I pulled his body away. "Sorry." I smiled shyly.

"It's okay. Congratulations!" Jonas smiled at me.

"Thank you. Cant wait to show all my friend in McKinley about this!" I yelled.

"Come on, they wont wait for this." Jonas grabs my hand then we make a little run to my dorm room. I can see everyone including every girl in this university glaring at me. They just saw Jonas Altberg holds my hand and look so happy with me.

As we entered my room. I grab my laptop and connected it with my handycam to upload it.

"Do you have any class tomorrow?" Jonas asked.

"No. Why?" I asked.

"Tomorrow is the sectionals right? Why dont we come over there earlier?" Jonas asked.

"Yeah they still had school and last rehearsal. Mostly they will spend the day in the choir room." I said. "Wait, dont you have a class tomorrow?" I frowned.

"No class, no photoshoot, no meeting I'm free this weekend. So you can kidnap me to wherever you want." Jonas smirks at me.

"Okay, we can stay in my home until Sunday morning. We had one more empty room. Agree?" I asked.

"Sure. But one more thing." Jonas said.

"What?" I frowned.

"Will you have a dinner with me in Breadstix?" Jonas smiled.

"How could you know about breadstix? Haha." I chuckled.

"Kurt told me that you really love breadstix." Jonas chuckled.

"Everyone in Lima loves breadstix, I guess." I chuckled.

"So the answer is?" Jonas raised her eyebrows.

"Yes I'd love to." I smiled at him.

"I'm not good to ask a girl for a date." Jonas giggled.

"Actually Kurt already told me." I chuckled.

"What?" Jonas frowned.

"Yeah, he blurted out. I was asking him to join the glee club here or not but before I ask, he suddenly said 'oh you want to ask me shall you accepted Jonas invitation for a dinner or not right?' I was confused but I ignore him. He might think that I dont hear what he just said but I heard it clearly." I chuckled.

"Omg that guy mouth! Yeah I was texting him. He said that you loves Breadstix so much." Jonas giggled as he sat down on the floor beside my bed. I just chuckled.

"Em, but you dont mind if you meet Sam tomorrow?" Jonas asked something that I dont want to answer.

"Well, no. He dated someone else, he dated Finn's ex. Life must go on, so we have to move on, right? Past is in the past. We lived for the future not for the past." I said to Jonas.

"How old are you huh?" Jonas grinned.

"18th years old." I simply answer.

"But your words so wise and cheesy." Jonas laughed.

"You have to be proud that I'm wiser than you." I smirk at him.

"Yeah Ms. Hudson." Jonas laughed then jump into my bed near where I'm siting.

"Time for a nap!" He yelled.

"This is my room, Mr. Altberg, yours is out of nowhere." I rolled my eyes.

"You know why I'm here?" Jonas asked.

I shake my head. "Why?"

"Because Ashley and Sawyer probably are taking a nap together right now and I'm tired hearing their moans even though I cant see it but that sound. Ugh." Jonas let out a sigh.

"Why dont you just join them?" I chuckled.

"Oh hell no. I'm not like that. I wont sleep with my best friend." Jonas said.

"But you layin your body in my bed right now, I'm your friend, Jonas." I rolled my eyes.

"Now. But soon or later? Who knows." Jonas said. I turned my face at him and frowned.

"Dont blind me with your cute face please." Jonas smirks.

"Jerk!" I snap him.

"A hot jerk." He snapped back. "Well bye Emily, I want to take a nap." Jonas said.

"Okay, I'll go to Ashley's bed." I stand up and bring my laptop but he catched my elbow.

"No, I want you here. It will be more warm if I can sleep with you near me." Jonas said as he let me back to sit next to he lay his body. I just can shake my head then grabs my phone. Gotta to tell the rest.

Glee Club Group Chats

Emily : being a part of Stereo Voice now!!

Emily Hudson send a video.

Emily : the scientist was really worked!

Mercedes : wow congratulations girl!

Kurt : just got home and got ur messages omg congrats baby!

Brittany : but why in the end of the video only showed about people walking around and looking at the camera?

Emily : OMG i'm forget to cut it! Thank you brittney

Emily : sorry, seems like you're not in a good mood today

Brittany : yeah Lord Tobbington keep asking me to buy him a catnip

Emily : catnip isnt good for a cat

Brittany : i know but he doesnt listen me. I wish you were here and explain to him. I dont even know what catnip is

Brittany : i dont know how to turn on my computer

I place my phone on the table. So the rumours was right. Sam dated Rachel. I dont know since when they been dating but its kinda awkward. Okay Emily brace yourself to meet him tomorrow.

Actually I was sing The Scientist with all of my heart but I have to move on and leave the past.

I lay my body beside Jonas. Actually, I really wanna cry knowing Sam can move on faster and easier than me, but I'm trying to admit that there is no space for me in his heart.

I saw our old picture and read all our old messages and this is made my tears slowly came down until I close my eyes and fall asleep.

I woke up as I heard people talking. "Stop chilin with those girls, Jonas find the one that can make you falling in love again." Seems like Ashley's voice.

I looked around and Jonas is not beside me right now. He might be in somewhere else.

"But I dont want to chilin with her. She is different and since she cames, I'm forget all about Sykora, you dont see that since she cames I never sleep in any other slut rooms?"

"I saw you slept next to her! She is an innocent good girl. Dont play along with her."

"We werent doing anything, Ashley. I was fall asleep and I bet so she is. I promise you, I wont play along with her. She is different, Ashley."

"I hold your promises. If you hurt her, I'll cut you off."

"Dont worry, I wont."

Did they talking about me? I dont know maybe yes. I looked at my phone screen 6.43pm. I'm streching and walked into the bathroom to wash my face.

"Did you just wake up, huh?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah, you think that I'm sleep walking right?" I'm yawning then get into the bathroom.

When I'm out from the bathroom suddenly my phones ringing. I walked faster to get my phone. A call from Sam? What? It's okay answer it Emily.

"Hey." Sam greets.

"Hey there." I said.

"I miss you."

"But you had Rachel with you now."

"It's different when you were here." Sam said.

"Haha well then.." I dont know what to say.

"I heard that you and that guy are dating.."

"We are not. The one who is dating is you right now." I said.

"Yeah I'm dating her since a week ago."

"Congrats." Suddenly my tears slowly come down.

"You cried?"

"Nope. Why should I? You can date every girl you want. That's no one of my business." I said.

"But what if I'm still in love with you?"

"Sam, please I dont wanna talk about it anymore." I said as I cried but I hide it.

"Tell me you love me, come back and haunt me. Oh, and I rush to the start, running in circles, chasing our tails, coming back as we are." Sam singing.

My tears become a big it's hard to cover now. "I miss you." I simply said then hung up the phone.

I cover my face with my pillow so nobody cant hear that I'm crying including Ashley and Jonas on the next bed.

"Em, wanna have dinner?" Ashley asked as she and Jonas came out from her bed side.

"No, I'm not hungry. I just ate a bar of chocolate at noon." I lied.

"Did you cry?" Jonas asked.

"No, I fall asleep with my contact lens so when I woke up it become like this. My eyes watering because it's little bit hurt." I said.

"I'll bring the food for you here. In case if you hungry in the midnight." Jonas said.

"T-thank you." I said. Then they walked out from my room.

** Jonas's P.O.V **

"Did she lied to us?" I asked Ashley.

"Yep. Dont you hear that she was talking on the phone then called 'Sam'?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah, I heard that. She told me that Sam dated someone else whos Finn's ex." I said to Ashley.

"Kurt, told me a week ago actually. Finn broke up that girl said that she loves someone else and that person is Sam. Kurt told me to not tell Emily until she find out by herself. That's why I asked for a dinner tomorrow." I said while we sat down on our table.

"You didnt tell me about that!" Ashley gasped.

"Yeah, we will come to Lima tomorrow and have a dinner in her usually had a dinner with Finn, in breadstix. I really wanna know who Sam is." I said to Ashley.

"You really dont want to play along or get into her pants right?" Ashley asked.

"Of course not. Remember the one who I was asking for a dinner? Only Sykora and now I asked her. She is different, that night she brough me into the choir room, I felt something inside me was different. Like I told you, since she came, I forgot about Sykora."

"Just please she is a good girl, not like those slut over there who starring at you right now." Ashley rolled her eyes. I follow her glaze and it stop on some slut on the corner who smiled at me so I gave them my fake smiled.
