Derek’s POV
Angel dodged the attack and appeared behind the man in a flash. The man lost his balance and fell down. Angel glared at him with fire of anger burning in her eyes. She took a step back and put one hand on her sheath.
Angel, stop! Come over here! Erika jumped to her feet and mind-linked.
At Erika’s words, Angel paused and turned to look at Erika in confusion. Erika beckoned at her and Angel calmed down immediately. Angel walked over and stood behind Erika. It amazed me how Angel trusted Erika and listened to her.
