Forbidden Love or Lust

The Next Work Day....

After what she had seen the day before she wasn't sure if she wanted to go on this date it made her really uncomfortable and unsure what this date would be like and if she should question him about it. It was Friday and the last day of work for the week and she had her date tonight at 8 so she got up and got dressed and made her some breakfast and headed to work.

Sarah arrived at work and went straight to work that day not really thinking about saying anything to him but she did say something to Madeline this being her last day on the job she asked her if she would like to go and grab some lunch they have gotten close since they have been working with each other Madeline said, sure she would love to so Sarah said, okay so I will be up here at noon and we will go get a bite to eat.

Sarah headed to the elevator and headed down to the basement to show the designers the sketches for the new clothing that Mr. Moore approved and signed off on upon arrival she stepped off and Mr. Moore stepped on and he looked at her and smiled and said, good morning and she said, good morning Mr. Moore what brings you down here? He replies with I was just seeing some of the designs that they had sketched for the new clothing line and she said, oh very nice. Sarah was kind of stand offish with him she still couldn't wrap her head around it so she was short with him and said, well I am gonna get to work oh and around noon Madeline and I are going out to lunch today since it is her last day here and his smile faded and he said, oh okay well are we still on for tonight? and she said, I am not sure right now.... I am focused on my work and I will let you know later on today after what I saw last night I am not sure if I want to.

Mr. Moore said, what are you talking what about what you saw last night? and she said, we will talk about it later I have work I need to do so I am gonna get to it I will talk to you later. With that she turned on her heel and walked away leaving him standing dead in his tracks and she was pretty satisfied with herself and how she handled the situation and thought now he gets to think about what I was talking about.

The morning was going by pretty quickly and they had gotten some of the product done and in boxes to be shipped lunch time rolled around and she met Madeline in the office and they headed out just as Mr. Moore said, something they were gone and he stood there silent. They went to the little café on the corner so they were close to work and they were talking about what Madeline's plans were for after she leaves this job? Madeline told her she is gonna stay at home for a little while and hang with my kids while my husband works and brings in the money this was his idea I wasn't for it at first but then I got to thinking about it and said hell with it I will do it. Sarah laughed and said, maybe that is why Mr. Moore came looking for your replacement they both laughed and continued eating their food and talking and after lunch they headed back to the office.

Once they arrived back at the office they were greeted by Mr. Moore he asked, how their lunch went and they both said, it was really good and fun we had a lot to talk about and Madeline headed back to the computer and Sarah headed for the elevator and Mr. Moore stopped her and asked, mind if I join you and she said, not today I have too much work to do and don't have time for shenanigans and he said, did I do something to offend you? and she said, I don't know but right now I don't have time to talk about it maybe we can talk about it later on tonight she said, and he nodded and said, okay well have a good rest of your day.

The elevator door closed and she headed down and sat there thinking am I making a big deal about this? or is there something there that is gonna bug me? and if this is even worth pursuing if he is gonna hide secrets from me I don't think I want to continue this whatever it is going on between us.

Finally, 5 rolled around it was time to go home and she said, goodbye to everyone down there and headed up and said, good bye to Madeline and gave her a hug and they exchanged phone numbers and said, they need to stay in contact and they both laughed and as Sarah grabbed her things and headed for the door Mr. Moore stopped her and said, really low are we still on for the night? and Sarah said, come by my house around 7 we have somethings to talk about before I even consider this. He smiled and nodded and said, okay that is fine and with that she said, bye and headed out and closed the door and headed home.
