Epilogue Part 1-The Appointment

The appointment had finally arrived and told Claire that the appointment was during our lunch and she said, okay sounds good I will meet you outside and she said, okay Sarah headed up to the office and was greeted by Brandon and he said, what are your plans for your lunch hour today? she said, I have a doctors appointment to see if I am sick and why I keep throwing up and he said, you want me to accompany you to your appointment?

Sarah said, no it's okay but thank you for the offer. He nodded and said, okay well I hope you find out what's going on with you said, me to I will let you know for sure what the results are. Brandon nodded and she kissed him on the cheek and headed out the door to meet up with Claire outside.

Once they met up they headed for the doctors and when they got there Sarah got really nervous and Claire reassured her it will be okay. So she filled out the paperwork and they called her in and they talked to her a little bit and said, we are going to do an ultrasound and see what is going on Sarah nodded and when they did the ultrasound they found out that she in fact was pregnant but not with just one but two babies and both of them were shocked and Sarah started to cry and Claire said, its okay I am here for you and she nodded and kept crying on her shoulder.

Once the appointment was over Sarah wiped her eyes thanked her doctor and said, I will see you soon he said I have you scheduled for a month from today you are about 12 weeks along and you do know who the father is right she nodded and said, yes and he said, okay well take you prenatal vitamins daily and eat and drink healthy and good luck on telling the father she said, thanks and they headed out.

As they were heading back to the office she asked, how are you going to tell him about the babies and she shook her head and said, I don't honestly know. Claire was giving her some ways of telling him by maybe sitting down and talking to him about it or telling him in an open area or you could even break it to him gently although he may react differently to this news especially with you two not being a thing and this wasn't planned and she said, I know this is gonna be super bad so I might as well expect the unexpected and Claire said, at least you will have a friend to comfort you through this and Sarah nodded and thanked her and said, I am going to need a friend.

They arrived back to the office and Claire went her way and Sarah started up the elevator and arrived at the office and Brandon wasn't there to greet her and she shrugged and thought to herself how am I going to tell him the news and in which way and how will he take it she shook off the thought for now and distracted herself with work and about 25 minutes later Brandon came into the office and said, how was the appointment and she told him it went good nothing majorly wrong and he said, well that is good she said yeah it is.

Brandon kissed her on the forehead and said, well I am gonna get some work done. Sarah said, one more thing she turned and looked at him and said, could you come by my house tonight later on I want to talk to you about something really important and he said, of course I will be by later on after my meeting around 830 okay? she said that's perfect and he went in to the office and she continued to distract herself with work until 5 rolled around and then told him she was heading home and that she would see him in a bit and kissed him and walked out of the office and headed home.
