Chapter 14

947 Words
The next evening, Lila’s phone buzzed on her desk with a message from Damien. “Conference room. Now. We need to talk about last night.” Her stomach twisted with a mix of anxiety and unwanted excitement as she made her way to the top floor. The office was quieter than usual, but the memory of what they had done on that very table still burned vividly in her mind. Damien was already waiting when she entered, holding a small USB drive between his fingers. He looked calm and composed, but his eyes held that same intense fire from the night before. “You called me here for this?” Lila asked, closing the door behind her with a soft click. Her voice was steady, but her heart was racing wildly. Damien held up the drive, turning it slowly in the light. “It’s the footage from the security camera. Everything that happened last night is on here. Every sound. Every movement.” Lila felt her blood run cold. She stepped closer to the table, her hands clenching at her sides as fear and anger surged through her. “Are you blackmailing me?” she asked, her voice rising with indignation. “After everything we shared, you’re going to use this against me?” Damien shook his head slowly and set the drive down on the polished conference table. “No. I’m not that kind of man,” he replied firmly, his tone sincere. “I brought it to you because I want you to know I have it. But I’ll delete it right now… if you agree to continue our private meetings.” Lila stared at him, her mind reeling with a storm of conflicting emotions. The offer was dangerous, tempting, and completely wrong on every level. She could lose everything — her job, her reputation, her future. “You want me to keep sleeping with you in exchange for deleting the video?” she asked, her voice low and tense. Damien met her eyes without flinching, his expression serious but filled with undeniable desire. “I want more time with you, Lila. Not just s*x. I want to explore what this connection between us really is. Say yes and I delete this in front of you right now.” Lila’s thoughts were a whirlwind of guilt, fear, and powerful attraction. She knew she should walk away immediately. Her career, her reputation, everything she had worked so hard for was at stake. But the pull toward Damien was stronger than her fear. The way he looked at her, the memory of how he had made her feel the night before, it was all too much. “Fine,” she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. “But not here. The executive elevator. It’s private enough for now.” They moved quickly and quietly to the executive elevator at the end of the hall. The moment the doors closed and the car began its descent, the tension between them exploded like a dam breaking. Lila surprised herself by pushing Damien back against the mirrored wall and kissing him hard, her hands already working on the buttons of his shirt. “Tonight, I’m in control,” she said against his lips, her voice filled with a mix of defiance and desire. Damien groaned softly, his hands gripping her waist tightly. “Then take what you want from me, Lila. I’m all yours.” Lila dropped to her knees in the moving elevator, freeing him and taking him into her mouth with newfound confidence. Damien’s hand tangled gently in her hair as he groaned her name, the sound echoing softly in the small space. “f**k, Lila… you’re incredible,” he said, his voice rough with pleasure. “The way you take control like this drives me crazy.” After a few intense moments, she stood up and turned around, bracing her hands on the elevator wall. Damien hiked up her skirt and entered her from behind in one smooth, deep thrust. The elevator continued its slow descent as he took her with powerful, rhythmic strokes. Lila moaned, pushing back against him, her body responding eagerly to every movement. “Tell me why you really want this,” she gasped between thrusts, her voice echoing in the confined space. “Is it just about the s*x, or is there more?” Damien gripped her hips tighter, thrusting deeper and more deliberately. “No. I’ve wanted you since the day you started here. Your intelligence, your fire, the way you challenge me in meetings. It’s more than physical for me, Lila. You make me feel something real.” Lila felt her heart swell at his honest words. She turned around in his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist as he lifted her up against the wall. “I feel the same way,” she admitted breathlessly, riding him slowly in the tight space. “You make me feel things I’ve never felt before. But this is still so dangerous for both of us.” Damien kissed her deeply as they moved together, the elevator humming softly around them. “I know the risks better than anyone. But I’m willing to take them for you. For us.” The pleasure built steadily between them as the elevator continued its journey. Lila felt herself approaching the edge, her body tightening around him. “I’m so close,” she moaned, grinding against him desperately. “Damien, I’m about to—” The elevator suddenly stopped on the wrong floor. The doors began to open with a soft ding. A security guard was standing right there, looking surprised to see them.
