A Harrowing EscapeTHE g*n HOLSTER is unnerving but doesn't prevent me from advancing into an impressive foyer. Nonetheless, I'm mindful of danger close behind. Quiet chatter whirls about gothic halls and hidden spaces. Vigilant of every room and passageway, I stroll along a winding staircase and wander past a great room exploding with an abstract painting above the fireplace. Adjusting the miniature camera forward, I meander under high archways, past a formal dining room, open kitchen, and arrive at a spherical chamber boasting a sizable satin sectional. Two odd couples, like father and daughter, sit at opposite ends, engaged in private chatter. Both men appear older than fifty, and the two young women, eighteen or nineteen. The scene looks innocent, but I bet the conversation isn't.
