My mind was a mess, and if I was being honest, I didn't see it clearing out anytime soon. The more I tried to push out the many thoughts, the more they clouded around me, each one threatening to drive me to the point of insanity, in its own little way.
I had tried a handful of medication techniques, but none of them had worked out. I tried counting my breaths, meditating, but the moment I paused each one, the thoughts were back again, with full force than the previous time.
What if I just allowed them to be? What's the worst that could happen?
