Valentina's POV I was never one to freeze in the face of adversities. Hell, I could cry, scream, kick my feet in the air and wait as loudly as I could, but I never froze, until now. I'd heard and read about people's experiences, how they just couldn't bring their brain to function, simply because they couldn't believe their eyes, or they wanted whatever was happening in front of them to be nothing but a dream.
