Valentina's POV A loud groan slid past my lips as I turned on my bed. My body pressed deep into the soft feel of my mattress, but it did nothing to comfort me. Instead, I felt all the more agitated, and it didn't exactly sit right with me. Like that wasn't enough, a dull throb spread throughout my head. My skull was on fire, and even the soft cushion didn't seem to be helping. I tried switching positions, but a full ache spread up my side. After tossing and turning a couple more times, I figured I wasn't going to get any relief in any way. No matter what method I tried, I ended up in pain. Nothing but pain.
