Valentina's POV The room was silent, and I had no idea what to think of it. Call me delusional but I really meant it when I said the grandfather clock in the living room had been the only source of noise in the last thirty minutes. Just when I thought the tick tock of the clock would be replaced by someone's angry yell, it surprised me again. My eyes came in contact with the rug beneath my feet.
