Valentina's POV A small groan slid past my lips and while that was an indication that I was going to be in some sort of pain very soon, I wasn't the least bit looking forward to it at all. I turned, hoping the dull ache in my body would at least cease, but I couldn't be more wrong. For some strange reason, it felt like I had enabled the pain all the more, and it was spreading faster than a wildfire left unattended to. I winced as a throb started at the back of my head.
