Chapter 2

Cole's POV     It was one of those days in March. Of course, days in March were always this way. Dusty, rainy and just windy. The troublesome wind blew, throwing debris and dust everywhere. I held tightly onto my cap for protection, covering my eyes as I made way to the school. No way, this school is huge. It’s so tall, it’s definitely more than a thousand feet. Probably taller than the Eiffel tower. The building materials must have comprised of gold, making it look so marvellous. No wonder it’s the number one ranking Supernatural academy in the world. So spacious and big wow, I’m really going to get the best out of it. At last, I’m far away from that evil old man. I just hope that Dad and Matilda are alright.      I step into the school and I like the look of it. I notice the school looks even better on the inside. We are told to go to the school auditorium by a loud voice which blared from speakers all over. When we settle, we’re called one at a time and tested by placing hands on a shiny orb. I see a girl who had an Amazonian figure which sat well on her wafer-thin body. A decanter shaped waist and a complexion which had an impeccable, ochrous hue. Her pencil shaped eyebrows eased down gently to her black beetle’s leg eyelashes. A sculptor could not have fashioned her seraph’s ears and pixie’s nose any better. Filed to perfection, her Venus-red fingernails ran through her nougat brown hair nervously. Spools of it plunged around her photogenic face and hid a swan’s neck, elegant and smooth. Her nebulous, Eden green eyes which were a sparkle with the ‘joie de vivre’. They were like two beryl-green jewels melted onto snow. Though freckle-faced, she still looked beautiful. Not too beautiful, just beautiful.          She was called to the front of the hall and when she placed her hands on the orb, it shone purple and she rose into the air. She must be a hybrid I thought, feeling her powerful aura emanating from her body. After we’re all given our rooms and other important info, we exit the hall.  . I hurriedly leave the hallway, not wanting to get called for any reason. I hadn’t gone far before someone bumped into me, hitting my shoulder blade hard. My backpack rolls on the ground a little before coming to a stop. I look up to see the pretty girl with the powerful aura staring at me. She says sorry, placing her hand in front of me, trying to help me up. I slap the hand away from my face and leave rudely, shouting ‘’you better watch out next time or else you’ll be sorry’’. I leave and head to my room. I go down a quiet dark, carpeted hall to an open doorway. Slipping inside, I close the door and turn the lock behind me. The room is bright white. It smells like fresh paint, and the walls when I touched them, were a bit tacky. The painter had been sloppy. The carpet, once white like the walls but now mottled from use, was streaked with paint near the baseboard. I wished the painter had kept going, painted the entire carpet and the dark wood night stand. The white is clean and new, and I like that it had belonged to no one but me.  I set my heavy suitcase down in the middle of the room. Pulling out my cloths, I pile them into the closet and stack most of my books on the night stand. Light streams through a small open window and reflects off the walls. I go to the tiled bathroom, turn on the shower and get ready for a nice bath. After which I change into a set of new fresh clothes and head towards the bed. ‘’Ah, finally I can get some rest’’ I thought before jumping on the bed. As soon as my body touches the bed, a gust of wind blew through the open window and I was whisked to a dark spooky castle without any warning. I dust myself briefly at the same time, looking up to see a mage standing by Evil King Malhem.  ‘’Thanks Miranda, but I’m afraid that’ll be all for now’’ he says gesturing to the mage. ‘’As you wish my lord’’ she says and disappears.   My looking around the castle, brought sad memories to remembrance. The overthrowing of my fathers’ Kingdom, the slaughtering of my mother, the imprisoning of my father, Matilda and the few survivors and not only the building of an entirely different empire, but a bigger one.  ‘’We meet again, Cole’’ Malhem says ‘’I don’t have time for any exchange of pleasantries. Why did you bring me here’’ I say sharply ‘’You promised to free me when I completed the last mission you gave me, so why summoning me again? I say, almost shouting. Two guards moved forward, each with a sharp trident and block me from moving any further. ‘’Seems like you’ve forgotten your manners too soon. I’m not sure you’ll like me to remind you how to behave before your king, would you? ‘’Just get to the point, will you’’ My findings show that one of my strongest enemy is a member of your school, by name Lisa Scot. What I want you to do is simple, ELIMINATE her! He orders, making lightening to hit me and I’m taken back to my room immediately.
