I was in the kitchen washing the dishes when I heard someone enter. I did not turn to face the person, believing it was sister Kate who had come back because she forgot something.
"Did you forget anything, sister Kate?" I asked without turning.
"No. Actually I came here because I wanted to speak with you," the voice said.
I turned immediately to face where the voice was coming from only to come face to face with Genevieve, who was standing by the doorway with her arms crossed. I was shocked to see her there and was even more shocked that she actually spoke to me.
"Genevieve?" I asked, my voice going even soft.
She walked towards me and stood beside me.
"What is going on between you and David?" she asked suddenly.
"I-I don't understand what you are saying. What do you mean?"
