Aiden POV: I woke up in the morning feeling happier than I have in a long while, my soulmate has finally been born and is now in reach. She stated that she was living in Celestia, which is funny considering that I am one of the founding members of the Elysian Valley. She seems to not understand that the supernatural does indeed exist and that she is one of us, which seems extremely strange to me. How can a person be supernatural and not know about it? It does not matter though, I will soon make her understand what she is, even if I am not quite sure what type of supernatural she is exactly, maybe some sort of hybrid.  Snapping out of my daze, I realize that my phone is ringing and I answer it, "What do you need, Cameron?"  "I had a weird dream last night, and I think that we all need to get together."  "We never all get together, Cam, and you know that. It always causes extra tension in the valley, and no one needs that."  "I don't care about that, we all must meet or else there will be dire consequences!"  "Fine Cam, I will be there in an hour. If this gets out of hand though, it is on you."  "I'll take all the blame if that is what you want, Aiden."  Hanging up my phone, I got out of bed to get into the shower, knowing that this meeting will end horribly. The leaders of the five nations have not joined and not caused a disaster in centuries, we are all too hard headed to work together. Hopping out of the shower, I quickly grab a pair of jeans, a dark blue T-shirt and my leather jacket and head outside to my motorcycle. I just arrived at the meeting space, which is located inside the middle of town. The entrance is hidden. Even though everyone in the area is supernatural, not just anyone is allowed into the sacred meeting space. Pulling my bike into my parking space, I quickly walk down the alley between the diner and the bookstore. I swiftly remove the brick and find the identification pad underneath it, which requires a drop of my blood as well as a strand of my hair to make sure that I am who I claim to be. The meeting place isn't all that bad. Even though it is underground, it is also somewhat homey. There is dark wood on all of the walls and fireplaces covering all four of the walls. I look over to the table where we all meet, seeing everyone already here and seated in their designated leather chairs that act as miniature thrones. I realize that I am the last to arrive and shrug it off. I am the King of the Elven Nation, and I will do things in my own time.  "Nice of you to finally show up," drawls the voice I hate the most, which is the ruler of the vampires, Mason.  "Oh shove off, Mason. I told Cameron I would be here in an hour."  Coughing, Cameron interrupts our stare down. "You did indeed tell me that you would be here in an hour, but we are nearly an hour past the original one. I understand you are busy, but a little respect for your fellow leaders would not go unappreciated."  Huffing, I walk over to my chair and sit. While I am not close to all of these rulers, Cam is my best friend, and I will never argue with him, especially when I know he is right. "Can we just get this meeting over with? I have things I need to do."  Smirking at me, Eric questions, "Why is it that you are so busy? Did you by chance meet the new girls at the university? I know you spend your days there keeping an eye on all of the youth much like I do."  Sitting up ramrod straight, I inquire, "What girls are you speaking of, Eric?"  "If you do not know, you will soon find out. They are all very beautiful."  "Leave them alone, Eric. One of them is mine, I am almost positive of it! I have begun to have the dreams, which means that she is in range now for our souls to reach out and connect."  All of the rulers are looking at me with their jaws hanging on the floor, completely surprised by what I said. "How many girls are there, Eric?"  "There were five of them, Cam. Why is that important? Your face just seemed to tense up a bit when I said that."  "I called you all here due to a vision that I had. I don't remember all of the details because the visions are still new to me. I just remember there being five females fighting in a war like none I have ever seen. I know these girls are important to us in some way, and now you are telling me that there are five new females in town. It can't be a coincidence, guys."  "This is ridiculous! Like we would ever allow important females to fight wars for us," Logan growls quietly.  "Logan, we are all protective of females, and I understand that being a werewolf you are even more so, but I cannot ignore what I was told in this vision. These females are important, and I have no idea what makes them so. Just that they will fight a war that we have been fighting for centuries; however, these females will somehow be powerful enough to win the war if we let them and bring peace to us all."  I slowly fall back into my seat, unable to believe that the war is close to an end, at least that is what Cam's visions are telling us. "We need to meet these girls and get close to them. Find out about their lives, and then maybe we can find the reasons why they are so special."  "For once, I agree with Mason, guys. I think we all need to enroll in the university."  "I don't want to go back to school," whines Eric.  "That is too damn bad. We are all going, and I do not want to hear anymore complaining about it," I state standing up and walking out of the door. This meeting is over as far as I am concerned. I have a soulmate to go and find. If she is anything like in the dream, I have a merry chase on my hands. I am excited to follow her to the ends of the earth if need be. Pulling up to the university, I walk into the main building and go to speak with the dean, Mr. Carson. Walking into his office, he snaps his head up, hearing me enter. "I understand you are my king, but it shouldn't stop you from having any manners. It is polite to knock, your highness. I could have had a student in here."  "I could tell you didn't by the fact there was only one heartbeat. The other kings and I are going to be enrolling at the university for a while."  Gasping in surprise, he stutters, "W-w-why would you n-n-need to come here i-i-is my performance u-u-underpar?"  "Calm down. No, we are not worried about you or any of the staff. It seems that you have recently gotten five new female students whom none of us have met, and we would like to investigate them."  "I don't know what you are speaking of, your highness. We never bring in new students. Our only students come from the realms, which means you should know them."  "Well, we don't, which makes me question how they managed to get into this school in the first place."  "Well, sir, I hope you find what you need. Let me know if there is anything at all that I can do in order to help your investigation along."  "I will." With that being said, I stride out of the office and go to enroll in these mundane classes and hopefully find my soulmate along the way. Enrollment is ridiculous. It did not take long due to being a king, thank goodness, but looking at these classes, I am dreading going to them. I have to sign up for basic freshman classes, and that does not guarantee that my soulmate will be in any of those courses. One can only pray. So far, I have gone to two of my three scheduled classes and have had no luck finding her. Walking into the dining hall, I see the other kings all seated at a table, and I decided that I should join them, maybe they have some news. Sitting down, I waste no time. "So, have any of you seen these females?"  All of them answer with some form of no, and it just makes me agitated. Looking at Eric, I question, "You said there were five new females, and yet not one of us have seen any of them. Were you lying to us in order to simply get a laugh? We all know how you love your jokes."  "Hello, I'm the king of the fae. You know I can't lie, Aiden."  "I also know that bending the truth is your speciality," I growl out.  "Chill out, there are new females, I promise. They just aren't there yet. You know how many different classes there are to take at this school? We will eventually find them," Eric promises.  Cam elbows me in the side to get my attention and nods towards the doors of the cafeteria. "I think we found our females," he whispers to me.  Whipping my head around, I see five beautiful females all looking around, trying to find something to eat and a place to sit, but the only one I can’t take my eyes from is my soulmate. She is here, and she looks so tiny compared to her friends and everyone else here. I just want to walk up to her and hold her close to me, never letting go. She needs someone to protect her. She is way too delicate to fight in this war Cam is talking about. Realizing that she is one of five, and that Cam's vision is most likely true, makes me see red.  "Do you see how small she is Cam? There is no way she can fight and win in our war! She will be injured or die! Your vision must have been wrong, or these simply aren't the correct five girls," I say with conviction, hoping that it will change what Cam has seen.  Shaking his head at me with a sad smile playing on his lips, he replies, "Those are the females from the vision."  "If they are the females from the vision, then why is the only one of us attached to them?" questions Eric.  "I have been in close range with all five and not one of them is my soulmate, so how are they connected to the rest of us?"  "I don't really know, Eric. I hate saying that, but this is how visions work; they don't tell me all I want to know, just give me what they think I should know. Either way, we will soon find out why they are important to us."  I am through listening to this conversation, especially when my soulmate is standing thirty feet away from me. I need to go to her. I push my chair back and make a move to stand up when I feel someone yank my arm, forcing me to sit back down. I whip my head over to the owner of the hand that is preventing me from going to see my soulmate and notice that it is none other than Mason. "Do not touch me."  "You can't just go over there and claim her, Aiden."  "The hell I can't, watch me." I go to stand again, but I am once again blocked from my destination. "Let my arm go now, Mason. I want to see her."  "Aiden, I know you hate me for our past, but you need to listen to me. If you go over there and act controlling and possessive, then she will run." “She would never run from me, you fool. All males in the bond are controlling and possessive."  "That is true, Aiden, and to a female in our world, that would be understandable, but she didn't grow up in our world. She grew up as a human. You will frighten her away and may never get the chance to make her yours if you act now."  Sighing in frustration, I realize what he says is true, although it is damn frustrating. "What do you suggest I do then, Mason?"  "I think that you should continue with the dreams as they are, get to know her there. That way, when she meets you here, there won't be any awkwardness or fear on her part. Show her your world and your heart while in the soul connection, and she will then trust you in the real world when the time is right."  "I hate to admit it, but you are right. I want all of her and at this point in time, she will run. She yells at me in our dreams, informs me I am not real, that she is going to marry and have kids with a nice man. The dreams are nothing but her subconscious to her; therefore, they mean absolutely nothing."  Trying to hold in his laughter, he says, "She actually said such a thing to you? I know I am not close to you but as a fellow king, I will gladly help you think up a punishment for her acting such a way."  "I have it all under control when it comes to punishing my soulmate. I just have to get her to believe that myself and Thennor actually exist." I turn my head, looking for my soul once again, and I noticed she is throwing her leftover lunch away. She is too small to be doing that. She should have eaten it all, I think to myself.  Once we meet, I will make sure she puts on some weight. I know she is small in stature, but her weight seems unnatural to me. Once she finishes, she heads towards the door where her friends seem to be waiting on her. I'm glad her friends seem so loyal; it will help in the battle to come. After she is out the door, I look down at my watch and groan, "Off to another class I go, guys. I know that I suggested this, but it was a horrible decision." Striding away, I pull out my schedule to see what I have next.  Chemistry 101, oh yay. I don't understand why a supernatural college is teaching ridiculous courses like this. Not one of these people will use chemistry once they pass the class. I may need to speak to the dean about the courses happening in this school. Unless it will help a supernatural adjust or excel in their life, I don't believe they should be offered here. It's not my decision to make alone though. Before speaking to the dean, I'll have to meet with the other kings. We already had one large group meeting. I hate the idea of having to call another so soon.
