Stephen POV
Hinalughog nga nila ang mansion pero wala na silang nakita. Hindi din daw masyadong Makita dahil gabi na.
Pinatigil ko muna sila at tinawagan ang aking pinsan na siyang nakahuli sa taong ito. Hindi naman ako nagkamali nang linapitan ng bigyan niya ako ng tulong.
Nagdagdag ito ng tauhan sa bahay, mga naka civilian lang na nagmamasid. Yung iba naman ay nasa loob ng bakuran ko at nag iinspeksyon sa buong lugar.
Nsabihan na ako na maghtothorough inspection sila bukas kasi may araw, ngayon kasi masyadong madilim.
Kaya’t nung matapos kami kumain, nagsitulog na kami. Mabuti nalang wala dito si Therese and Matt. Ang mga babae ay sa iisang kwarto lang gayun din ang mga lalake.
Me and Jessie slept sa baba, we had a room ditto in cases di na kayanin umakyat sa taas. I want them to easily have access to me pag may kailangan.
Jessie already washed up and got dressed but she was embracing herself. Nilapitan ko ito saka niyakap.
“Stephen, ano ba tong nangyayari satin? Okay naman tayo noon ah.” She was almost crying. I hushed her.
“It’s gonna be okay. I promise, ngayon lang to. I will never allow anything to happen sa pamilya natin. Maraming gustong pabagsakin ako because of the things I do.” I told her. I cupped her face and stared into her eyes.
“Ang mga abak natin ang siyang magmamana ng mga negosyo ko, love. They will get more of this as time goes by and they have to be ready for it. But I will never allow na masasaktan kayo. I promised you already, diba during our wedding, to keep you safe and I will. You and our family. Kahit pa ikamatay ko yun.” I told her. She cried more and hugged me tight.
“Please don’t say that. Di ko kaya nang wala ka.” She said and I closed my eyes tight as I hugged her.
“I will always protect our family, no matter what. Okay?” she nodded and unti unting bumitaw sa yakap naming.
“Let’s sleep, we both need to rest. Lalo ka na, please remember your heart is weak. You need to rest.”
Buti nalang nakinig ito at humiga na. I washed up first then got dressed with my pajama. I went out at tumabi na sa kanya. I hugged her from the back, I can feel her relax. Humarap ito sakin and slept on my chest.
Tiffany POV
I woke up in the middle of the night, iihi sana ako. I glanced at my left and saw Janelle sleeping soundly. I smiled saka binaba yung feet ko sa sahig.
I glanced at the terrace and I swear parang may nakita akong shadow sa may terrace. But I just rubbed my eyes, baka na mamalik mata lang ako.
I stood up but to my surprise, I was not dreaming. Instead, I saw the shadow na tumawid sa kabilang side. Bigl akong napasigaw na ikinagising ni Janelle.
She stood beside me at tinanong ako kung anong problema, I pointed at the terrace with my eyes full of fear.
Bigla naming bumukas ang pinto at pumasok sina Kuya, I couldn’t speak but I pointed the door to the terrace.
Pinuntahan ito ni Kuya Alex saka ni Kuya Cristoff but no one was there. But I swear I saw that shadow na I guess was jumping when I screamed.
Pumasok naman sina Mommy at Daddy kasama yung team ng security. I just hugged Mom so tight, dad was so furious after learning what happened.
“I do not care what time it is, find that person!” he screamed at the security. Lumapit naman ito sakin and I hugged him so tight.
“D-Daddy, I’m so scared.” I was crying on his shoulder. He was just soothing my back. :umapit naman si Janelle.
“S-sir, a-ako po pakay nila. A-ako nalang po lalapit. Mas masasaktan po kayo pag andito ako.” Janelle said with tears in her eyes.
Dad looked at her and shook is head. Bumitaw ito saglit saka hinarap si Janelle.
“Pareho lang ang mangyayari. Once he’s done with you ala kong babalikan nila kami. They may use other person, yung alam nila na di kami tutulungan. You have done so much for us, Janelle. Please let me tahe care of you. Kapakanan ng pamilya ko ang nakasalalay ditto and you have helped us determine kung sino ang nagpapahamak samin.” Dad said as Janelle cried.
“You stay, Cristoff and the family will make sure you are okay.” Dad said as he placed his hand sa shoulder ni Janelle.
Kuya Cristoff and Alex walked back, they said wala nang tao and that all they can see are the security sa labas.
Dad decided to sleep in one room altogether to ensure na lahat kami safe and that security will be all round the mansion.
Mom called Kuya Matt and he was so mad knowing what happened. He even added more security sa bahay nila. But he said he was gonna come to the house by tomorrow.
I slept in between Mom and Dad, yung mga Kuya’s sa isang bed na ipinasok sa room nila Mom, while Janelle used the couh which was so big for her too.

Jessie POV
Morning, 6am, I woke up along with my husband. Inayos ko ang sarili saka lumabas ng room. Stephen was behind me, we let the kids sleep in.
Nakahanda na yung breakfast namin sa table pero nagkape lang muna kami ni Stephen. Pumasok naman yung head ng security and tols us some report nang pag iinspection nila.
“Sir, may basement po ba kayo sa mansion niyo?” he asked.
My husband nodded and asked him why.
“Nagpalagay po ba kayo ng butas sa basement niyo?” he asked again
“Nope, walang butas dapat doon kasi naka aircon yun. Sometimes nandoon ang mgabata playing with their ps5 lalo pag ayaw ng asawa ko ng ingay ditto sa bahay.”
“Sir, sa pag inspection naming kanina, may btas po doon sa likod ng book shelf and we are nt trying to scare you pero palagay nmin doon dumadaan itong palaging nakikit na tao ditto sa bahay niyo. Imposible po kasing malampasan niya kais a may gate at ditto mismo sa surroundings. Marami na po kami kaya po nagtataka ako kanina”
“I want to see it. Basta wala akong pinapasira sa mga tauhan ko.”
“Tara po, para Makita niyo po.”
We all stood up and went to the basement, may mga guards din doon. Nung nakalapit na kami, I saw that the hole was enough for one person to go through.
“Oh my God, Stephen, baka dito nga pumapasok yung tao na yun.” I said to my husband.
“Kailan pa kayaito ditto, di ko naman iyto nakita noon.”
“Covered po siya sir ng book shelf kaya di madaling Makita. But we think ditto nga dumadaan yung taong yun.”
“I want that filled with cement. I don’t care kung ilang semento magamit, punuin niyo. Gawan niyo ng paraan di na makapasok yung taong yun ditto.”
“Yes po sir.”
Kaagad naman umalis yung security. I hugged my husband from his side and cried. What is really happening? Pinapatahan naman ako ni Stephen.
“Shh it’s alright. I won’t let anything happen to you. Please, baka mapano ka niyan sa kakastress mo. Leave it to us ng mga anak mo.” I nodded saka kami bumalik sa mansion.
Tiffany was already there with Janelle and the boys. They saw us and saw our worried look.
“What happened? What’s wrong with Mom?” Cristoff asked.
“Now we know saan dumadaan yung taong nakikita natin ditto sa bahay. Our basement has a hole.” Stephen told the kids.
“Goodness, I was there the whole day yesterday.” Tiffany gasped.
