Vernon, the first of the six,was a firemage, with icy blonde hair that suited his countenance and she'd thought Marshall ,the snub, but he took recognition of her, even if it was for a minute, but Vernon did nothing of that sort. He didn't even look her way,she wasn't the type to seek out attention, but she felt inwardly embarrassed on how she was being treated. She just lowered her gaze to the floor and clung to Darion's arm,as it was her only way of comfort, and in return he whispered words of assurance to her. Vernon was the overseer of all four sections. When it was time for dinner, she sat next to Darion by the side of one of the long tables and next to her sat the fifth of the brothers, Owan by name. He was free-spirited and just as welcoming as Arina,or even more,he was like a charming prince in a boyish kind of way. He turned her glass of water to ice the minute she lifted it to her lips and she dropped it immediately to see if anyone had seen what had happened and hopefully no one, and when she returned her gaze to him,he was innocently, dutifully sipping from his glass and she just had to smile , according to Darion, he'd just been handed a section in the land,he dealt with the matters of justice.
And lastly, was Otto. He wasn't in attendance, but as explained by Darion, he was in charge of the second section, and to crown it all, there were some with other special abilities, like healing, foresight and mind reading. There were other things she couldn't quite remember or understand, but with time she hoped she would. She had been scared of mind reading, it was a complete invasion of her personal privacy, and fortunately for her, Darion didn't have that skill, and there was a way to hide one's thoughts. But it wasn't perfected yet. If indeed you had that gift and you helped someone hide their thoughts, you alone would be able to read it and not everyone could cast a spell of proportion,as it has to do with the mind. It was usually those with the gift of reading the minds that could hide it,but there were a few exceptions, very few. He was just lucky enough to have gotten it right and he was rather confident, as he didn't want another person reading her thoughts. With dinner done, they all returned to their respective chambers. She could only await the next morning to see what more was bestowed.

"Go on."Thrianna said as she flexed her cold fingers. He stared at her for a while till she felt uncomfortable under his gaze, she felt like she was the one being questioned, then he ticked his tongue and looked away. Everything would change once he told her. She wouldn't see him the same way,but what was the difference? The staff knew of the curse,it was only logical for him to tell her as well.
"My father only revealed this to me at death. Maybe it was only appropriate for him to have done so at that moment, but I think not,for if he had said it all in time,I would have been prepared."
"I hear she was a witch,"he started, and the story went like this.
(✿)
She got to the gates of the castle, and she looked up at the huge manor before her,but as she made to walk through the gates the guards stopped her.
"Where do you think you are going?"the one on the right asked, trying to look through her hood. She was completely covered with a brown cloak that had obviously seen better days,it was so worn out by it's hem and her face was completely covered by her hood with her dark brown hair sticking out of the hood.
"I have come to see his majesty and his new wife,I have come to offer my extolment to them,as well as a gift."she said, her voice was as clear as crystal waters,it sounded so rich for a strange looking peasant.
"Get away, they were married three months ago."they said as they made to push her away, but she looked up at them, her eyes were now visible, and they glowed a bright silver colour.
"I said I am here to offer gifts. Let me through."she intoned.
"Yes."was their simple chorus and with that, she walked into the castle, and just by the door to the manor, she was stopped again.
"What do you want?"
"I have come to see his Majesty,it is an important matter,"she said with her face to the ground.
"How important?"they asked her, and she looked up at them.
"I said important."
"Yes."they responded like they were being hypnotized and again they let her through.
With her skills, she was able to find her way to the court room, and just as she entered, all discussions ceased.
She smiled as she sighted the queen,it was good that she was there as well, it would make everything a lot easier and what was that? She sensed a little life growing within. Well, things just got a lot better.
"Who are you?" Lord Valot asked, looking at the cloaked figure before the court. They had just been in a meeting, addressing a serious matter when she walked in.
Slowly, she raised her hand and took off her hood and looked in the king's direction to see that he was clearly shocked by her sudden arrival after months,he didn't even know how many months since he'd last seen her,but she suddenly shows up now? She really looked beautiful. Now he knew why he fell for her charms. It was those eyes. It was exceptional, but that didn't mean he would forget what she was. She was a witch and she had kept that from him,so she was not to be trusted. It is said that witches are evil. They were in two categories;the black and the white. The black witches were of smaller numbers and were really dangerous. They were locked up for their evil long ago and nobody had heard from them ever since, but the white witches were of a much greater number, mostly because they posed no threat, but that didn't mean that they could be trusted. In fact, you could never know what they were capable of and it was advised to keep them as far away from yourself as possible,so his only option had been to break all tiles. She was a white witch and he was the king. He couldn't marry a witch. He had known that his footman had been offering her some kind of help but he had decided not to speak about it until recently.
"Hilda, what do you want?"
