"okay."she said agreeing with his terms even when they were her conditions.
"Good."he said standing to walk towards the door.
"Say your good byes ,we would be leaving in the next thirty minutes."he said going out the door while she still stood there staring at the floor with her hands fisted to her side as hot painful tears burned her eyes,no wonder she had been feeling so sick, she thought before she felt someone embrace her.
"I'm so sorry."laurel whispered patting her back while Thrianna fought back her tears, she wouldn't let them see her cry ,it would only add to their discomfort and hurt, laurel drew back to look at Thrianna who immediately put a smile on her face despite the obvious tears trying to leak out.
"I'm fine mother, there is no need to apologize, it's not your fault."she said to see her father step forward to engulf her in a tight hug as well as kiss the top of her head.
"At least Gatrish would be safe now."she said with an encouraging smile then he pulled back to look at her.
"My brave little girl."he muttered for her to giggle.
"I'm not little,I'm eighteen."she said as she sniffed ,she couldn't even stay angry at him.
He made way for Tina who gave her a hug as well.
"Would I ever find a better sparing partner?"she asked
"Never." Thrianna answered as they both giggled.
"I could teach Trice ."she said pulling away from their embrace.
"You'd have better luck teaching a horse to fly."Thrianna whispered and they both smiled.
"I'ld miss you so much." Trice said finally stepping in lately to give her a hug as tears ran down her cheeks.
"Don't cry, look on the bright side , you get to see Darion again."she whispered to her hearing alone and Trice confirmed the fact that she was a big reason for Thrianna's choice today which only brought more tears to her eyes ,why did she always have to see the bright side of everything?
"Make sure you always write to us okay?" Trice said pulling away to look at her.
"I'ld miss you too."she said, she wasn't a letter kind of person but she would try her best.
"Lady Cathrianna."Roman spoke immediately he got into the room again.
"The carriage is ready."he said as she nodded towards him then she smiled at her family one last time, her heart felt so heavy already and she hadn't even entered the carriage, she turned away from them and hurried out of the castle as Roman lead her to the carriage and he held the door open for her to find the lord of Nightfalls already seated, she looked back on last time to find them looking at her through the window and she bit her lip hard to hide her tears but it wouldn't just stay in ,her vision were blurred with tears by the time she turned back to the carriage and it's occupant, she didn't even notice how plush the carriage looked,he took out his hand for her to help her into the carriage and after a little while of hesitation she took it and even with her wrecked emotions she couldn't help but notice how warm his hand was in comparison to the atmosphere which was a bit more than cold, how could anyone be so warm?,she thought settling on her side of the carriage as she tried her best to hide her tears by looking out the window but as every other thing that she had done tonight,it was impossible in his presence and next thing she knew a handkerchief was dangling in front of her and she took it with out a word of thanks ,he didn't deserve her thank you as he was the reason for her tears in the first place,in fact he didn't deserve a word from her at all even if she desperately needed a blanket to keep her away from this really cold weathers so she kept shut and when she was finally done with her tears she feel asleep.
Waking up in the early hours of the morning she found herself draped with an overcoat and before she could stop herself she muttered,"thank you."and he nodded to her words, it looked like he hadn't slept a wink. She adjusted in her seat as she tried to make herself comfortable but when she noticed that he was still staring at her she stiffened, did she do something wrong?
"I didn't get your name."she said remembering the reason she had wanted to go after him during the time of the ball .
"Ivor Valot."he said as she mouthed the words and for a second he wished it was accompanied with her voice even if it was the tiniest bit he would hear it.
"Why-"she said to be interrupted by the growl of her stomach as colour washed over her face,he must think her a starved animal now, well it wasn't far from the truth, she hadn't eaten a proper meal in days and when she finally did it came right out which was definitely not pleasant.
"We would stop by at the nearest inn home to get you something to eat as we wouldn't be home till evening."he said as he opened the latch and informed the coach man.
Home, she wasn't sure she would ever call it that.
Stopping at the nearest inn home Thrianna was lead out of the carriage and into the inn,she was given a room where she could see to her needs after which she was served a fitting meal but due to the occasion that had taken place the previous day she still couldn't bring herself to eat enough, after her meal she returned to the carriage but this time she stayed in her own company while lord Valot rode on a horse beside the carriage, she had never felt so bored in her life, when ever she was in the company of her sisters it was always so fun and she would miss that alot , she wondered what they would be doing at this time, maybe they were on their way back to Gatrish, she sighed, she wished the best for both Trice and Tina ,she hoped Trice would be able to garner enough courage to tell father about her feelings for Darion and she hoped that none of them would ever be in a situation like her's.
