Trice woke up with a probing a head, she tried to open her eyes but it felt really heavy, she felt weak but then her mind went back to the previous night.
Darion,
she had to know if it was all a dream or it was really reality ,she forced her eyes open as she made to sit up but strong hands held her down.
"No I need to-"
"Shhh, rest my dear."Fredrick said helping her back on the bed, they had called the local doctor to check on her health and he said that she was just a little too stressed, she would be on bed rest for the whole day ,it was early afternoon and she looked like she hadn't gotten any sleep at all.
"Darion."she muttered looking at her father and he scowled.
"He is gone and it would remain so,you should have known better, there are thousands of people looking up to you and you planned to put their fate in the hands of a mere gardener,I expected much more from you."he said as he stood from the edge of her bed.
"No wonder you didn't choose anyone else, you were so infatuated with a gardener-"
"I love him-"
"Not one more word from you Beatrice, you are very lucky this little escapade of yours wasn't caught by anyone but your mother, you would have been ruined,it was a bad idea for me to have given you so much time."he said as he lowered his head and waved it regretfully.
"W-what do you mean ?"she stuttered in panick.
"General Lorick's son has asked for your hand and I have approved of it,once you get well enough to walk, you would be seeing more of him and your marriage is exactly two weeks from today."he said as he met her horrified gaze.
"No, father I don't even know-"
"I will have no further arguments on this topic, it's decided."he said as he turned and left the room and Christina came in after wards.
She was still groggy from the news, she couldn't even move her hands or make herself speak, when did he think of all this?, when did he accept the proposal?,how would she possibly get to Darion, how would she inform him in this?,now she wished she had just ran away with him, that he would have just dropped that conscience of his and ran away with her,she would have been happy, yes she would miss her sisters, yes she would miss home and her parents, she would miss the fact that she wouldn't be attended to by maidservants and so on,she would miss the hot meals and warm comfy mattress but she could leave it all for him,she would learn to cook, learn to wash his clothes, she would live in a small cottage with him and she would wait for him to come back every night ,then she would make him a hot bath when ever he would come home from work and help him wash up,she would do anything for him and then she would bear his child, her life revolved around him and him alone, she couldn't think of life with anyone else, she felt Tina give her a hug and it settled her numbness, she closed her eyes as tears streamed down, how could he just leave her, didn't he love her enough?

Their blades clashed against each other and without another pause Ivor lunged at him again and he barely avoided the attack.
"At this rate I would be butchered before I get to know what got you worked up."Roman said steadying himself.
"Shut up." lvor said going to strike at him again but he blocked it,and with a determined push,Roman knocked the sword out of his hand as he pointed his blade to ivor's neck who in return place his palm on either side of the tip and to prevent from getting injured before Roman retracted his sword.
"You are too annoyed to focus."Roman said placing the sword back in it's sheet.
"I have no reason to be annoyed,I am perfectly tamed."
"Oh!, you definitely are annoyed, you haven't gotten this close to anger since a long time ago, you know how disastrous that can be."Roman said giving him a knowing look and he couldn't help but smile, they weren't too close because of the barriers Ivor had erected since a young age but he was reliable,he was among the only persons who didn't show fear when in proximity with him and he was very dedicated to his work,he was the son of late general of the army and he had taken over five years ago, they had known each other since a young age and Roman was a trustworthy sort.
"You wouldn't happen to know how to court a woman now would you?"he finally said.
"She is giving you quiet the trouble, isn't she?, well from what I know, women like flowers and serenades, poems composed in their favour and surprises, why don't you ask her what she might want."Roman asked picking up the other sword that was cast away during the fight and placed it safely in it's sheet.
"That is the problem, she refuses to speak her mind."Ivor said running his hand through his head in frustration.
"Then get her to have a normal conversation with you."Roman said placing both swords in the hands of a guard on standby while Ivor nodded.
During the time of dinner, Thrianna was grateful that he didn't try to bring up any discussions like he usually did, instead he minded his meal as she minded her's,she really needed to bring up the need to visit places out of the palace, she was getting really bored but since he wasn't talking then she would have to hold her voice till they were in bed.
After their dinner he stayed back as usual while she went in to get ready for bed and after she was done lay in bed and waited for,it was getting really cold, she tugged on the blankets to cover herself more properly and after her long wait ,he finally came in ,he took off his his upper wear and came towards the bed and lay beneath the covers,he took her hand and pulled her to him and she held her breath for a second and he smiled, she was getting aware of him and it was good.
"I have something to say."she said looking up at him.
