Abolishment

Raven and Jameson return to their room to dress for the lantern release. They both wear black. Jameson looks stunning in his black suite and dress shoes . He wears a white butting up shirt and black tie under his suite jacket.

Raven chooses a long black evening gown with the back cut out. She places minimal make up on knowing that she will cry it off. Her long hair is in curls and she looks stunning yet graceful.

They attend the Ceremony knowing that Jake will be exiting the property. Raven tries to focus on the ceremony but she has a million thoughts racing through her head.

She feels a tug on her dress and looks down to see the most beautiful little girl .

She is a small blonde haired blue eyes child. Her eyes are swollen from crying .

" Hello little one ." Raven says sweetly.

" Luna, Thank you for making tonight so special for my daddy" The little girl mudders.

The little girl is Ronald's youngest daughter Abigail.

When Raven realizes who she is she bends down to the child's level.

" Abigail , your daddy was so brave and he deserves this and so much more. I want you to know that your daddy is the reason I am alive and you and your family will forever be in my heart" she tells the child.

The little girl wraps her arms around Raven and she picks the child up in her arms. They are both sobbing now.

Raven take the little girl to the edge of the lake and allows her to cuddle up on one of the porch swings in her lap . She mind links Jameson to have him let Tia know that her daughter is safe Incase she needed to find her and where they are .

Raven holds the small child and sings to her. Abbigail falls asleep in Raven's lap. She thinks to herself how she will sing to her own pups this way and comfort them when they need her most. Ravens heart breaks for the little girl. She makes a promise to Abigail to be there for her family as much as her mother will allow. She feels so much debt to the family who's husband and father was killed protecting her.

The memorial was beautiful and Tia comes to collect Abigail once it's over.

" Thank you Luna for comforting her. " Tia says.

" Anything I can do to help heal your broken hearts, I couldn't imagine the hurt you all must feel." Raven replies.

" You and Alpha Ellis are not at fault for Ronald's death Luna. He died in the line of duty protecting this pack. Please don't feel guilty for that. " Tia says.

" You are right , but I can't help but feel terrible that he lost his life protecting me. If not for him I would not be here today." Raven cries.

" Luna, you are the head of this pack . We have all noticed the change in Jameson since you have arrived into our life's. This pack needed a Luna and you are perfect for us. Yes my heart will ache for a life time for my mate, but I am proud to have you as my Luna. Ronald was as well. Abigail is honored to have you here comforting her. " Tia says.

" Abigail is welcome to be an honorary niece of mine. All of your children are now my family and yourself as well. Please don't hesitate to come to us for anything you may need. " Raven replies.

Tia hugs Raven and thanks her again for all that she has done not only for her family, but for her pack . The full moon makes the lake shimmer and it's a beautiful night . The lanterns drift out of sight and many of the pack members beging retiring for the night.

Jameson finds Raven and the pair say their good nights to the remaining pack members. It will be an early morning for the warriors.

The two retire for the night themselves. once back in the safety of their suite Jameson let's Raven know that Jake had exited to property without issues.

" Jameson I know your not going to like it but I have to go tomorrow." Raven says .

" Your right I do not like that ideal at all , what about the possibility that your pregnant?" Jameson argues.

" I will stay back from the fighting line, but I need to be there for the women and children. I need to be comfort to those women who are released from the hell they have been living. " Raven states.

Jameson knows she's right. He Hates it. Chances are the women they will rescue tomorrow will have lost trust of all men after what they have been though. Having Raven there will be a big help in convincing them that it's safe to come back here.

Jameson reluctantly agrees. Raven is exhausted. It's been quite a long day with so much drama that as soon as the couple exits the shower they both curl up on the brand new bed that has been delivered.

Sleep over takes quicky. Raven doesn't sleep well. She dreams lives lost in the name of her own protection. She dreams of her pups. A beautiful set of twins an boy and a girl. The big looks exactly like Jameson and the little girl is a spitting image of herself. But in her dreams the little girl Is taken from them in an act of violence. She looses her baby girl at birth. when the sun begins to rise Jameson sweetly wakes Raven. she dressed in leggings and a light tee-shirt and the two head down to meet the others.

Alpha Bryant's pack is about 5 hours away . Jameson has gathered permission from the elders to abolish the pack .

Several other packs have agreed to join Jameson in taking down Justin.

Raven hopes that the shear about of warriors will be enough to make Justin submit peacefully. The least amount of suffering and lives lost are the goal today .

Raven replays her dreams of the night before on the long trip. She and Jameson hardly speak he just holds her hand . Jameson isn't sure what Raven is thinking as she has put the mental block up. Raven doesn't want him to know about the dream she's has of their pups and how one is lost during a fight. She believes it's just her nerves over today and the possibility of being pregnant getting to her . However Raven has always had a way of knowing things before they happen. She imagines it's the witch blood she carries and it makes sense to her now why she has been able to do this all her life. Raven talks herself into believing it was just a bad dream brought on by all the stress in her life right now .

Jameson and the warriors arrive outside the red river pack and discuss their plan . Raven will remain at this safe distance until Jameson Mind links her the all clear to enter the pack territory . She's just far enough away to keep from being involved in the fighting, but close enough to still reach Jameson through the mind link . Tucker and Becca stay behind with Raven as the rest of the wolves march on Alpha Bryant's pack .

Jameson's Pov.

I know that Raven hates being left behind. She is a true leader. She hates the thought of our pack fighting for her with out her. But we can not Risk her being injured. Especially now that we may have pups on the way. Three other packs have agreed to march The red river pack today along with myself. Elder Scott is here today as well to confirm that this is a just battle. My hopes are that Justin will surrender fairly easy. He's out numbered by a long shot.

We arrive at the front gates of his small territory. I am the first to speak.

" We request to speak with your alpha" I command the guards .

" What is this about Alpha Ellis" one of the men snark back.

Elder Scott steps forward." This is Alpha business child. summon your Alpha. "

They guard does as he's told , as he can not deny the request of an elder Alpha.

Alpha Bryant emerges from the gates shortly after. It takes everything in me not to let Axel loose at that very moment .

" Well what do I owe this very unexpected visit" Justin says smugly.

" Alpha Bryant , for years you have been accused of ignoring the laws of our kind in regards to the breeder laws." Elder Scott says.

" Not this s**t again. You have tried time after time to accuse me of this nonsense." Justin snorts.

Just then I can feel her presence. What the f**k Raven. I know she's used her cunning ways to convince Tucker to allow her to be here. I will deal with him later.

" So you deny hiring vampires to deliver me to you then , do you Justin" Raven says out loud emerging past the warriors walking to my side.

Justin's mouth drops to the ground and he just stairs at her.

" Well did you or did you not , Employee vile men to kidnap me from my pack , from my mate and deliver me here to you so that you could use me in this breeder ring your running?" She ask him once more .

Justin turns to run like the coward he is . His guards luge forward to protect him quicky being dismembered by a few of my much more skilled men . I am larger, faster and stronger then Justin. It takes me no time to catch up to him as other warriors arrive to fight they quickly realize they are way out numbers and begin retreating.

I capture Justin quicky and Elder Scott places him in silver handcuffs .

" Tell us Justin , how did you think this would turn out? I am the largest pack in this country. You tried to kidnap my Luna . My mate" I roar.

Justin remains silent. his pack has began gathering into the street to witness thier corrupt Alpha being captured.

" Where are they you dirt bag. " Raven commands. " Where are the women that you forced to be a part of this pack "

Again he remains silent . Axel is livid about Ravens presence here . But who are we kidding we both knew she's not one to sit back and let things play out.

I drag Justin to the small town square and hang him on a post by his cuffs. my men and the men of the other packs round up the men of Justin's pack quickly . once all of them men in the pack have been gathered . The women and children are removed to the large gym area. Raven instructs Becca to comfort them and to find out as much information as she can from the women .

Raven's POV :

I know jameson will be livid that I snuck away from Becca and Tuck, but I couldn't stand being a sitting duck when my people were about to fight for me.

It was fairly easy for our warriors and the ones from the other packs to gain control of the situation. Jameson has Alpha Bryant shackled to a large stake in the middle of the own square.

I mind link him to apologize for my rash decision. Like I suspected he's pissed but he promises to punish me later for it. I've grown quite fond of his punishments so I'm not to worried about what he has in mind for later .

Justin is a coward and it takes no time at all before he's given up the information on how he communicated with the vampires. It's one more piece of information we will be able to use to contact the king directly to go through with our plans.

Alpha Scott the elder is disgusted with the amount of women we discover have been sold or kidnapped into this pack .

Jameson sends me a mind link " Well princess how do you suppose we should punish this sorry excuse of an Alpha? "

I think about it for a moment . " I think that each and every one of these poor women he's ruined should have a chance to punish him , his death should be slow and painful. If you kill him right away like I know you want too , he will not suffer as much as he deserves . Death is too good for him to come slowly "

" As you wish." he relies.

Jameson and a few of the other large men follow me into the gym where Becca and the other women are.

Becca is doing her best to comfort many of the women and children.

I arrive and my presence as a Luna is recognized immediately.

" I know you have no reason to trust us . You have no reason to trust anyone with how your Alpha has ran this pack. I am here today to offer your refuge." I say in a warm yet authoritative tone.

Many of the women bow their heads in respect .

A few of the women just look at me in shock.

" Those of you whom have been sold into this pack please step forward."

15 young women step forward . My heart sinks when I realized that some of these girls aren't even of age . The youngest looking to be only about 9 or 10 years old.

" I am so sorry for what has happened to you, if you would like on behalf of the Blue lake moon pack we would like to offer you a place in our pack . There are several other packs here today as well that would be willing to accept you into their pack. Alpha Scott is waiting over there to gather your information. We would love to punish those who thought so little of you as living breathing beings to have sold you to this vile man ." I say with sincerity.

The group of women thank me and many even hug me crying . They are all frail looking . Many of them wearing bruises from being beaten into submission. We will fully punish those who have participated in this awful ring of trafficking women. Most of the girls who were sold agree to come home to the blue moon pack with us. A few decide to go with one of the other packs present .

" Now for those whom were kidnapped. please step forward." I command .

30 or more women step forward and my heart shattered. How can anyone be so vile to take these beautiful girls from loving homes. I don't know which is worse the girls being sold into this or the ones taken without a trace. Families looking and searching high and low for them .

" I am so sorry that this has happened to you. We would love to help reunite you with your families. However our offer of joining our packs stands for those of you whom wish to not return to your original packs , or those of you whom may not be accepted back. " I say in remorse.

I know that some packs are still old school and these girls may be looked at as tainted. It's so wrong as they had no doing in what they have been forced to endure.

Again I am swarmed with appreciation. Tears and thanked. Many of the women again choose to come home with us . A few to the other packs and some will be staying with us shortly until their families are alerted to their safety and where about .

The group of kidnapped women make their way over to Elder Scott and his men who are taking down information .

" Now for the rest of the women and children here. We offer you refuge. I understand that some of them men who will die here today are your mates and your father's. Sons , brothers and friends. For those of you whom wish to remain faithful to this pack you will be banished as rouge. This is a hash punishment but these men knew of the Alpha's wrong doing. They helped cover it up and that helped it be possible. As many of you know my pack is the largest of this country. We uphold the laws of our people. The crimes committed here are a discrace to our goddess and to our kind. I am more merciful then my mate. If you choose to go rogue please know this is my one and only offer to allow you to keep your lives. I may be more merciful then Alpha Ellis , but I will not hesitate a second time to strike you down if you choose to betray this one time pass for you life. " I say in my own alpha tone.

the room erupts in cheers and applaud.

Many of the women start making their way to Alpha Scott to begin a new life with our pack or the packs of our allies.

I don't see it coming when a tall blonde women walks up to me . I expect her to show her gratitude as the others have before her.

" This is your fault , he rejected me as his mate for you , she wails" and before I can stop her she plunges a silver knife into my abdomen.

I react instantly and Rip her heart out as she thuds to the ground the world begins to spin and I fall shortly after she.

Jameson's Pov:

I am escorting groups of women to Alpha Scott so that he can get information on where they came from and how they ended up in this hell hole when I hear a women screaming at Raven. I turn to see my worst nightmare.

The women has stabbed my mate directly in her stomach with a silver knife.

Raven rips the heart from the women's chest , but before I can reach her Raven falls to the floor.

The whole room once that was busy and filled with commotion has frozen in silence. It feels like it takes 200 years to reach Raven but I am there as quickly as my legs will carry me.

Raven has tears streaking her face.

Oh no please goddess no . don't let her be dead I scream out . I don't care how weak I look in this moment to anyone , truth is Raven is my only Vulnerability.

I can still feel the mate bond. But it feels like it's fading Raven is dying in my arms.

I'm rushed by people one women bends down and whispers into my ear " Alpha , we have to move her to the infirmary now or she will die"

I do as she says and she leads me to the pack hospital. Luckily it's not far from the gym.

I allow the male doctor to be brought from the town square and many of the women from the gym who work as nurses follow us to the hospital.

The doctor and nurses have to pry her from my arms I don't want to let go , but I know they need to take her to the operation room to remove the blade.

The doctor removed the silver blade and I can feel the bond between us strengthen.

" She is not out of the woods but removing the silver has already increased the chance of survival, Alpha " the young doctor announces bringing me out of my own head. Sitting in the waiting room feels like years are ticking by. I think of the family Raven and I were supposed to make. I'm so pissed off at her for coming along when she did. But at the same time I'm so proud of her for being so fearless. She is a true leader and I need her more then I've ever needed anything in my life .

I pray to the moon goddess to please allow her to wake up. I need her to wake up. I think I may die if she doesn't pull through .

I have instructed for Alpha Bryant to be delivered to my dungeon. Raven will pull through this and get her chance at punishing this man or I will make him suffer dearly for the loss of my mate.

The women not needed to help nurse Raven are sent to the packs they have chosen to join and the remaining men are beheaded and burnt at the stake.

I spend three days in the abandoned town with just the doctor , the nurses and Becca and Tucker.

My mom and the other women at home have taken the role of helping the battered women who escaped this place.

The town is eerily quiet and the only sound for days is the beeping of Raven's heart monitor. I love the sound. As long as it beeps I know her heart is strong and still beating.

The Doctor comes into check her wound dressing.

"Alpha, Your Luna is going to pull through this . her body needs time to heal, but she has suffered more than just being stabbed by silver. " The young doctor says to me in a remorseful voice .

" What do you mean she's suffered more then just a stabbing" I roar.

I know exactly what he's about to tell me.

" Alpha I'm sorry but Your Luna was pregnant. Her blood work indicated that it was still very early in the pregnancy, there's no way she would have known. but I believe her body did and she's grieving that loss. I believe that's why she has yet to wake up. Her mind is keeping her sedated to deal with the pain. Her body is physically healed enough now that she should be awake. " He says sadly.

" Tell me doctor , why should I spare your life other then the fact that you've helped save my mate " I growl at him . Emotions have taken over and Axel is howling in my head to kill him where he stands.

" Alpha , if you wish to kill me I understand. I took an oath to do no harm. Which is why I remained at this pack to treat the women being beaten and battered here. I am the one who spread the rumors of what was happening behind these walls. I have done my duty and I am grateful that you and your Luna rescued these women. I am so sorry that this happened to her. Kit was crazy. She was Alpha Bryant's fated mate. They deserved each other both as wicked as they come. Bryant rejected her and refused to take her as his mate. He had the crazy ideal that he would be able to successfully kidnap Raven, and force her to produce an heir of high rank." The doctor explains to me.

" You , your the reason we found out about the breeding program that was being held here?" I ask

"Yes, I unfortunately was born into this pack. This has been happening my whole life it's the reason I got my doctor's degree and remained here. " The doctor answers.

" He's telling the truth Jameson", Raven's voice is weak and quiet.

The doctor and I both whip our heads toward her.

She grabs my hand and softly squeezes it.

" I lost the pups didn't I?" she asks with tears welling.

"I am so sorry love ." I don't have the heart to truly answer her question.

" Luna it's so nice to see you awake. I am so sorry about your pup. The good news is that there will be a chance for future pups. the silver blade did no permanent damage to your organs. I know this will never make up for the loss you have suffered." The doctor speaks up answering her question when I can not.

Raven begins sobbing hard. " Jameson I am so sorry. How could I be do stupid . Why didn't I listen to you"

" Baby please this isn't your fault the plan was to bring you here when it was safe and the men were subdued. You would have been among the women even if you had followed the plan." I reassure her. My heart is breaking for the loss of our pup but more for my mate. I can feel every ounce of her grief.

Raven stops crying and looks at the doctor. " what is your name?" she asks.

" My name is Dalton White ,Luna " he answers.

" Dalton , thank you for saving my life. We could use another doctor at the pack hospital if you would like to join our pack. We would be more then happy to have you." She says.

Dalton accepts her offer.

"When can we leave this place doc?" I ask him .

" The Luna can leave as soon as she feels strong enough to make the journey home." he replied.

" I am more then ready. I just need something to eat first" she speaks up just as her belly rumbles in hunger.

It's cute and makes everyone chuckle a little bit after all the bad news.

Becca and Tucker come into the room . Becca is crying tears of joy to see her best friend awake and alive .

" Raven , I thought we had lost you. Please don't ever scare me like that again." Becca sobs.

" I will try my best " Raven chokes out trying not to cry a again.

Jameson can fell her hesitancy about wanting to share the loss of their pup.

The Doctor fetches Raven and the rest of us food. We have been so worried about Raven that we hadn't realized how little we have all eaten.

After Raven eats we all load into the few SUVs that were left behind for us . Tucker and Becca Drive one with a few of the nurses and The doctor, Raven and Jameson drive home in the other.

The closing of the gates is a closing of a bad chapter in so many people's lives . When Jameson ask Raven what they should do with the new land . Raven comes up with a beautiful plan to turn It into to sanctuary.

" We should use it to house the vampires that leave the rule of the king. Make it a positive place." She mind links Jameson .

He agrees and they travel home . Raven falls asleep on the long ride home . Her body is healed but her heart is still shattered.
