We got out of the car and looked at the massive villa.
“This is it!?” I asked and Lee appeared next to me.
“Wow I didn’t expect this.” Lee said looking at it in wonder.
“Langoria I presume?” I jumped and looked at a little man who was standing not to far from us.
“Yes that is Hannah Langoria and I’m Arnold Langoria.” Arnold shook the man’s hand. The man looked confused for a moment.
“Don’t mind him, they’re like distant cousins.” Lee said trying not to laugh. If Arnold’s eyes could shoot fire they would.
“Oh! I apologize, we were told she had a mate and not a husband. You had me confused.” He walked over picking up a couple bags. “This way!” He started walking toward the villa and I grabbed onto Lee’s hand as we walked into a grand entrance. The marble floor and grand stair case glistened. I stood there in awe and slowly looked at the guys who looked the same.
“This way.” The little man going up the stairs. I started walking and pulling Lee forward now. We walked up the beautiful marble stair case. Once to the top a long hall with painted pictures hung down the hall. The little man stopped in front of the first door.
“This will be Ms. Langoria’s room.” He opened the door to a massive guest room.
“What in the h*ll!?” I walked in to a beautiful pearly white room. Two beautiful French doors opened up the a few of the ocean. We all walked around looked at the massive room.
“Over here Sirs.” Lee and Arnold walked into the hall.
“This will be your room.” The little man opened up the door across the way to a smaller room with twin beds in it and Lee stopped.
“We can’t share? I have to share with…” He pointed from me to Arnold.
“My apologies sirs. King’s orders.” He tossed their bags into the smaller room.
“Excuse me, I never asked your name?” I asked the little man.
“Jensen, Ms. Langoria.” He bowed. “Please call me if you need anything, anything at all. Kings orders.” He turned grabbed my bag and gently placed it at the end of my bed. He bowed again and walked out closing the door in Lee’s face. I heard arguing on the other side of the door. I shook my head and opened my bag taking clothes out and putting it into the dresser. The door flew open and Lee came in as Arnold followed.
“All I’m saying is that we can’t defy a order from the king!” Arnold argued.
“I’m not sleeping in a bed with you!” Lee said jumping onto my bed.
“We aren’t sharing a bed you dumb*ss! There’s two beds in there.” Arnold crossed his arms.
“I don’t care.” Lee laid there.
“I thought you were the one that said we can’t defy the king. Isn’t that why we’re here?” I went and stood by Arnold crossing my arms as well.
“Fine! But if I fall asleep and he sneaks in here, he’s dead.” Lee jumped up. “I’m sleeping closest to the door.” He marched out.
“Fine, I don’t care.” Arnold followed but stopped at the door.
“Hannah it’s Jeeves.” I heard Arnold call.
“Jensen sir.” Jensen handed a envelope to me. Lee walked up to the door way. “You are all requested for dinnner. Please wear something nice. His majesty has provided money if you didn’t bring anything nice.” Jensen bowed and walked away. Lee and Arnold walked up as I opened the envelope and had a heart attack.
“My goddess! How much is there?!” Lee grabbed the envelope.
“What are we supposed to go get to wear!?” Arnold looked at me.
“I’m calling Jensen.” I walked to the phone and picked it up. A woman’s voice answered.
“Bonjour! How may I help?” She said.
“I’m just trying to ask Jensen something?” I said.
“Oh yes! One moment.” The phone clicked and went to dial tone.
“What..” I said looking at the phone.
“You called?” Jensen was suddenly by Arnold who yelped like a hurt puppy.
“Pft…frt frt HAHAHA!” Lee tried to hold it back but found this absolutely hilarious. Arnold’s face turned red and he glared at Jensen.
“We were wondering what type of clothes were supposed to get for dinner? This is a awful lot of money.” I asked him.
“It’s not for one outfit, it’s for many. There are a lot of functions coming up. You all must look nice, presentable, clean cut.” He looked at Lee’s hair.
“I’m sorry, did you say functions!? We were here for the audience and then to go back home.” I said to him.
“I apologize, maybe you were misinformed. This is a week long event. A lot of the highest packs are coming just to meet you.” Jensen said. My mouth dropped. I looked at the guys who looked equally as shocked.
“Call your f*cking brother right now!” I said spitting with anger. Lee nodded and got his phone out. Jensen looked at me and fumbled in his pocket.
“Here is the address of a very nice shop that will take care of all of you.” Jensen turned and took his leave once more. Lee reentered the room looking at me.
“He said he had no idea.” Lee saw me march up and snatch the phone.
“Are you kidding me?” I said.
“Hannah why would I lie?” James was on the other end his voice sounded as fake as when he had me sign that contract.
“You sound like your lying.” I crossed my arms.
“Ok, I knew about one function. I swear I thought two days tops.” James said sounding serious. I sighed.
“Hannah just like enjoy yourself and pretend it’s a vacation.” Hermia said to me.
“But this isn’t a vacation. Lee isn’t even allowed to sleep in my room.” I said and heard them both laugh on the other end.
“Let me talk to my brother.” James laughed as he talked. I held out the phone loosely.
“Hello? What? Why does it matter? Fine, me and Arnold are sharing. Very funny. Yes we’ll get something nice. Bye.” He hung up. He looked at Arnold. “Hermia sends her love.” Arnold scoffed and walked away.
