Was I enchanted? I don’t know but whenever I look at Pears, it was just like how Tinkerbell looked at Peter Pan.
The slow-motion vanished when Pears greeted Celine and he hugged her, all of them actually. But when he came to face me, he greeted me with a nod and a subtle smile.
Really? After all those times? He didn’t even miss me?
It was a moment of awkward for the five of us and I’m sure both Celine and Betty clearly had no idea of what was going on.
“Hey! Let’s fall in line now, there are a lot of enrollees.” Gary tried his best to make it less awkward.
