Betty’s letter to Gary: They didn’t give any rule if I can’t write to…. Dead people. No that came out wrong. What I mean is that they didn’t say I couldn’t write to those in heaven, and I’m choosing to write for you because you were the first person I thought of. They said to write to a person whom you want to strengthen your relationship with, and this might be nonsense for others, but what I want, is to strengthen my memories of you… because I never want to forget you. Gary I, I wouldn’t be here writing this letter if it wasn’t for you. The truth is I owe you my life, and I’ve been trying to talk with you some nights, but I would only end up breaking down into tears because all those painful memories are still in the back of my mind. So now I thought, I think this is a great way to talk
