Allegra The day of my Alpha ceremony dawned gray and freezing. I looked out over the pristine blanket of snow that had covered the landscape overnight. It looked like a death shroud. Giving a sigh, I tried to shake off the gloomy mood, but there was so much riding on the day's outcome and I felt lost. If the water didn't glow, where would that lead us?
