Alex Pov:

It's been a couple weeks now before we have jailed Todd, before the kids did they upgrade. It' a peers Selene was willing to try giving them a little break. When they had grown up last time the pain was so much the surge of power set some of his office curtians on fire from Bella's power. She cried and screamed to a point it hurt him and Chase. Between him, Evie, and Dylon we finally got Bella to calm down to a point where she passed out. Both kids right now are in class not fighting class to pratice their techniques but the mental. Werewolves need eduation too. We need to learn the basic, math, spelling, writting, and other thing that will help in their later life. Callie, Dylon's sister was the one with them to teach them all the things they needed. Hopefully, Selene will wait for a bit before subjecting both of them with under age up.

I also had the need of time to think, Elder Steve left a bitter taste with his council talk, nothing like throwning in a wrench into a already sc***ed up world that we have. To think: Me! The head of the Elder Council, if he didn't see the gleam in his eyes when he talk to him about it he would have thought it was the biggest joke in the world. He didn't even sleep that night. Worried about his daughter, worried the affect of his wives feelings, not only for him but interducing her mother. Gods, her mother first time hearing about that and getting information from his wife which all he got in return was and I quoate, "I don't remember her."

He supposed that was right, he had no reason to doubt his wife. Sure it takes her a while to open up in to a normal conversation about what happened into her life but this wasn't the case. She was just be a quite little mouse if she was uncomfortable but at this time she answered right away. Maybe this Aveline left in Evie young life as she stated. Still he had weird feeling about all of this but many he thinks he was because he was throughly uncertin in become a leader to all and not just to his pack. He has to remember to he would be a leader of all for very long. They we're trying to make a King and Queen of the supernatural world aren't they?

He would be an advisor to Dylon and his daughter. He supposed that idea wasn't a bad one and he could still have an eye on both of them. He took a look at the notes Elder Steve left at him and he knew he was actually humoring the idea. It wasn't all as bad as he was thinking of it but he could have been told in better matter. Instead it was dropped off in his lap all but smacked him in the face the dropped into his lap but the one that has been more the quite about was Chase.

"Chase?" I asked

"Yes, Alex," He answered, there was no bite in his response but Alex wanted to tread carefully with his friend he basicly other half besides Evie.

"Are you okay with this? You have been really quite and I would like your thoughts on it." Alex said.

Chase sighed, "honestly I have a feeling this would be the best to authority before the kids are of age. Which by the pace won't be too much longer."

Alex agreed even though he was nervous as h*ll with this idea, it really wasn't the baddest idea ever either. Like he thought before he could still be in contect with his pack with his daughter and his wife would still be by his side.

"Well friend if your okay with it, lets start our studies then," Alex commented

Chase snorted, nodded his head, "Alright lets begin."

Just the Mathew step into his office with a goofy grin on his face, " My son Joe says he has everything now figuared out for getting us recording from Todd, We can interrogate him tomorrow."

Matt sat down on the other side of Alex desk crossed his leg and his eye brow lift at Alex, "What's this your not seriiously thinking about become Head Elder our you Alex?"

Alex glared at him, "Yes, Chase just now agreed which mean we are very serious about this. Speaking of become Head Council as my Beta it's time for you and Angus to come into terms with it as well since you both will be coming with us."

Matt's face constricted into a sneer, "Really? Your going to humor this, Alex? What about the pack needs?"

"The pack will be informed about the transfer. You need to remember this pack is going to be intergrated at the Royal Pack when Bella and Dylon take over. They will lead this pack. I've talked to Dylon, Jake will be his Beta, and Joe is to become his Gamma."

"Gamma?" asked Matt, "Gamma's haven't bee around in years, Alex."

"Yes I know this but not so long ago we didn't have Guardian's to help protect the pack either, now did we? Plus Dylon came up with the idea, I swear I'm actually talking to a full grown man and women when their talking. Things are changing new threats are coming and we need to ajust according." I stated

Matt drew a deep breath and exhalled it slow, "Alright, Alright I guess everyone has to start stepping up. I guess that includes me but on question, Alex? What does Iduna go? What happens to my wife does she stay here or comes with us?"

"I'm not sure, that one thing you should look up." I handed up his book on the job rules.

"Go throught them," I added, "and we'll find out."

Before the hunkered down, Matt lift his head up and looked at Alex, "Were are the kids?"

"With Callie as of right now, then both of them will trail after Zach a bit, learning on where the boarders are, where the other bunkers are since they have only been in the one, all the save exit tunnels are and where they go. This is very import for them to know. Beside, we're training them on some of the common knowledge stuff out of the way first. Never know when their going to grow up so to speak."

Matt snorted, "I thought for sure they'd have another growth spurt all ready but seems mother Selene is in no hurry right at this time."

"She'll reveal her plans when she's ready, Matt." I nodded my head to the book he held, "Now no more talk! Start reading your stalling."

I signed after hearing Matt mumble "Fine, Fine" acting like I couldn't hear him but he knew better I heard him just fine. This man hated reading was a more hands on guy. I knew him however, he always alert like to watch just before he did something. "Size them up" Matt always stated. I tried not to chuckle to myself. After "Size them up" he'd nomorally "shut them down".

Felt like hours went by shifting all the information on how to present a new law, how to vote on it how much time concerned on what law your passing on how many day it can have before the vote. Then how the vote system works if tie, himself would have the last vote, sealing in, favoring it or not. How every individual Elder is a representative of every pack. Other then the Head Elder each other our picked by the pack themself to send out to Elder's. Traditionally is the oldest of the pack memeber who is elected but sometime if a she-wolf or he-wolf does something special or is honored, sometime pack memeber will vote for them to take the honors of becoming Elder.

"A Cleric!," barked Matt, scaring me sh**less. My head snapped up, "What?"

"A cleric is what my would be sort of like a secretary, keeps everything organized with the Elder's mate the do Alpha meeting, setting up meeting with Elders, so basicly what they do her as Luna and Beta Female. So interesting! The keep Omega's organized as well, with the chorice, cleaning, and making sure if guest have places to rooms and meals serviced. UH, That's great both of our women can come with this makes me very happy Alex, I thought I would get blue balls!:

I chuckled at that. I did have the same thought on where Evie would go but leave it to Matt to think s***l thoughts.

"And why not our we not men?!" chuckled Chase

Yep, we we're and it was hard to get anything done, with so much on my mind. Pretty sure Matt had the same result, every night since the was mention, trying to exhaust oneself with s***l moment anytime he's mind with wonder. Evie had to tell him she was too tired and to let her sleep. Which she not normally one to turn his lovemaking but he agreed he had made her pretty raw. Plus she didn't seem to be worried as much as he was about this Elder thing. Maybe because she was use to have dealing with council since her father was in it for many years. But then again she was over with the mages.

There was a knock on the door and I instantly answered, "Come in"

Jake, Jade, Joe, and Lucia came strudding in with Joe landing in the chair next to his dad.

"Hey, Man, that's my spot." Jake barked growled at Joe.

"No your spot is where dad is and dad isn't leaving anytime soon sssooo! No, I'm not in your spot this is my spot!" Joe grin childishly to Jake. Both girl just giggled while Evie and Iduna came in the room with eye rolls. The children came in after hand and hand. Looking allready 8 and 6.

"When did that happened?" when I point had them, Callie and Zach came in and Callie sighed, "Durning Mathematic Class, all of sudden light like everything else when the grow." By this point my brother is just going to be the same age as I am. I'm not quite sure how I feel about this at this time."

"Don't worry sis, I won't pass your age. Mother Selene told me I will stop at 18 so will Bella." Dylon said from the corner in the room where the extra seating is.

"You don't say uh?" Callie c**king her head to her brother, "Makes me feel so much better then"

Everyone was laughing at that and that when John strolled in. He looked confused and I just shook my head at him.

"Don't asked." I told him. I looked at everyone as the moved into my office finding seats. Evie came around my desk and sat on my lap. I gave her a kiss on top of the head and looked around at everyone.

"So?" I said, "Everyone is here for a reason I take it?"

Joe nodded is goofy facial experssion changed when he hear me, he's thought now on me instead of heckling his brother.

"So myself and my beautiful mate her finally got everything working we're able to go a head now and make Todd confuss to everything."

My brow lifted up as I looked at Lucia and a grin formed, "So which animal did he talk you into."

John comment instead, "Cats."

I looked at him, "Oh, my little hunters, How did you get close to them. They don't like us wolves but the seem to be okay staying here with distance."

"I bait them with treats," grinned Luca

"More like spoiled them" comment Joe as he looked at me with his eye sparkling, " They may not go back to hunt after it but I have the cameras on them Where waiting for them to return."

"They will and I didn't spoil them because I didn't over feed them and the left after all the treats where gone. We're just waiting for a bit before we check."

Joe pulled out his tablet as he started turning it on and loading up mulitpul screens. As we waited conversation ran like normal everyone finding out how each ones day was. Until we hear Joe chuckle. I looked over him and he was wide smile told me everything I knew before he said, "We're ready, Alpha."

"Well, then who's going and who's watching." John demanded.

I know John he wants to be there for Mara. He had been with her and my mate when Kara hurt the pair. I know he will be coming with.

I nodded to him, "You, Matt, Evie and myself I think the rest will stay and watch."

I got up and held my mates hand, looking into her eyes and asked, "Unless you want to stay here?"

She shook her head. Appartly she was coming but I was going to protect her as much as I could from him from anything mental abuse he can through at her as well.

"Let's do this!" Chase yep.

"That right buddy once he gives us what we want I'm removing that head of his."

I was looking forword to it. Study time was over
