Lucia Rodriguez

Johnathon Pov: I just alerted the Alpha and the gang. We were scouting the area trying to find Jade. With mind linking up, everyone knew that Jade was safe now and everyone was feeling a little better. While we were searching for what was happening, when we discovered the rogue army, and Matt and his gang met up with us. Matt and I were sitting in the shadows of the forest watching and waiting to see what came next. We wanted to see what the Alpha Rogue would do. The plan was to follow him. If we could get them to the Northwestern boarder and use everyone just in the right, we could surround these a**holes. We watched as a mage came up to the Alpha and whispered to him, then all of a sudden, he disappeared. "What do you think is going on with that?" Matt asked. I shook my head, "I have no idea." "I think she took him to see the dark mage," a full kind of rich voice answered. I turned to see that it was one of my mage protectors that Evie assigned to me. She was crouched next us on her knee but I knew she wasn't very tall, maybe 5'5, she had thick black braids that ran down just below her shoulder. She had bright honey brown eyes that glinted gold, Evie interduced her as Lucia Rodriguez. She was only 16. She may be young but she was very powerful and very knowledgeable as her mother was part of the Mage Council. Lucia was very dark skinned that glistened in the light and had a spunky teenage attitude that I adored. When I noted it to her, she rolled her eyes and said, "Well blame it on my parents there both feisty." I added, "Okay?" My confusion must have been funny because she answered, "Well I'm half Latinx and African American and my parents used their culture in wanting a big family. I had 8 siblings that I had to deal with and if you weren't loud enough or vocal enough. You didn't get what you wanted. It made me a fighter, but I do love them all." I laughed, it must have been a great family to grow up in and I was sort of jealous as I was the only child, but hey, it had its perks too. "Why would you say that, Lucia?" getting back to the matter in hand. "I know that girl?" she pointed, "That's Camila Mendoza. Her mother was on the council until she surprisingly died from unknown death. I think she had a hand in killing her mother. Camila has always wanted her mother's position on council when she was 16. I think she would be around 18 now. Very spoiled and I have a very entitled attitude. I could never prove it though, but now seeing her here, it just solidifies it was her and she's working with Kara." I nodded at her, "Is this Camila powerful?" Lucia shook her head, "Not really, but if Kara and this demon shared any power with her or taught her more magic, then maybe more powerful then the last time I saw her. But I'm not reading a whole lot from her. I don't think she'd be a problem. The only thing I can think she would be involves the council. Goddess, I could go a whole lifetime without hearing her shreaky little voice again." Poor Matt was on the ground crying in laughter as he was trying his d***iest not to give our location up. "F**king Ch**t man! Knock it off before we enter battle, before we're ready." I growled at the fool. Matt whipped his eyes, "Sorry" he whispered-laughed. I rolled my eyes and I could tell Lucia was trying her hardest not to laugh as well, but that didn't stop her from grinning like a loon. "So Jade mentioned that Ona was the one that almost killed her. Do you know her as well?" I asked her. She looked very upset, "Yes, Ona never hid the fact that she was Kara's right-hand man. She was also, I believe, lover with Kara and her demon. Not that I can prove that, but Ona was very good with magic until she became Kara's apprentice." I nodded, "So could Camila now become an apprentice?" "Possible, the way she was acting just now. I think she has been a go to for Kara before. So I would say she's an officer or general of some kind. With Ona gone, Camila could be put in that spot now. Time will tell." It was like hours of us sitting here while we were waiting until Camila zapped back in with the Alpha of Rogues. They looked like they had been through h**l and back. Both of them were now yelling at each other and we only got bits and pieces of their conversation. I looked at Lucia and she looked like she was concerting real hard. I saw her eyes were silver at the moment and I could tell she did a sort of spell, but didn't asked what kind, so I didn't interrupt her. Finally, the shouting stopped, Camila left and Todd then started yelling again. The wolves, mages, and hunters he had yelled or howled. They turned and started marching for Northwestern boarder. I looked at Lucia. Her eyes were now back to normal and I could catch a little disgusted look on her face. "Catch anything important?" I asked. She nodded her head. "Yes, I guess the dark witch went into h**l, her demon needs to refuel." I could feel my mouth hit the floor before I could respond. Matt asked, "For how long?" "Not sure the two of them have a timeline of five years, but it could be earlier or later. Time is different there than it is here." "So it all depends on how h**l is for her," I stated, but Lucia nodded her head in agreement. We watched as the rest of the army disappeared in the tree line. In our mine link I sent out a message to our warriors, "Follow, stay quiet." "Yes, sir." I got back, then I messaged Alex, "Alex there coming your way, where following. The Alpha of Rogues is with them." "Thanks for the update John, I'm looking forward to this." Alex stated. "I bet you are." I chuckled through our link, then added, "Save some for us pal." Matt added, "He d**n well better!" The three of us chuckled at that and I closed the link. We started to advance into the woods ourselves. I quickly followed my line and heard Lucia announce that she overheard the enemy using coated weapons and to watch out for them. I made sure we kept the back line in front of us and we're only a few yards away from the pack boarder now. I looked over to Lucia and she looked back at me. "Now" I mouthed. She nodded at me and quickly her and the other mages hopped into the tree branches above. "Man, I'm always jealous about this part." Matt linked me. I silently laughed at his dumba** but secretly agreed with him. "Get over, man, let go!" One by one, we we're slowly killing the back of the line. The mages were shooting from the sky with bows as myself and the others slowly covered mouths and broke necks, or slit throats. We took a few out but still there were so many of them remaining. I wanted to see if we could at least get about half of them unaware before getting to the pack line, but no such luck when one of the arrows missed their targets and the back of the line noticed what we were doing. I'm now in full battle stance and linking Alex on what just happened. As I was linked up, at least a dozen wolves, mages, and hunters were circling me. D**! Well, now I have to figure out how to get out of this. Just as I thought it, a light burst in my area and Lucia was by my side. She threw fireballs at a couple of mages while some of the hunters ran as they we're on fire. I laughed a little and shouted at her, "Perfected time girl!" She smiled only a little as she was dueling two mages at once. I rammed myself into one of the wolves that was coming for Lucia. I latched on to its neck and started to get some leverage to snap its neck when it stopped suddenly throwing me to the nearest tree. F**k that hurt! I searched around to see where he was when I noticed he was flying towards me. I pushed on the tree, pushing myself under his leap as I shoved one my daggers into his gut. He clasped on me and I flipped him off, removing my dagger from his gut as I shoved it into his neck. He may be evil, I thought, but I'm not. I turned to see Lucia and killed one mage already and was still working on the other one. I tried quickly to get on to my feet before hearing a yell to my left. I dodged around the tree quickly where another wolf whipped passed me. I recognised that wolf instantly. Angus!! Thank the Goddess. I said as I turned around and saw a couple of hunters coming my way. I stopped them as I parlied with both of them, holding up swords and shield, making my very small daggers hard to get around. I flipped over one and shoved my dagger in his back before he could get me when he whipped his shield around. I dived under it and shoved my other dagger into his leg and finished off with an upper cut to the jaw, breaking bones. I heard a scream as I looked over to another hunter being ripped apart by Angus. It was a fair gruesome site that had my stomach slightly sick, but it had to be done. They would have done the same or worse to our group if we had let them. I heard another scream which I recognized as Lucia's. I turned panicking until I noticed she was trying to pull apart an invisible something. Her arms flung to the side as I heard a loud snap. Soon I was diving and ducking from flying meat parts. I assume was from the mage she was fighting. When the rain of body parts stopped, I looked around at all the blood and pieces. I groaned and look at Lucia, who had a big gin on her face. Shaking my head, I announced, "I'm definitely not going to want to eat for a while." Angus and Lucia laughed and Angus mind-linked up. "Remind me not to p**s you off little one!" he stated to Lucia. "Noted." She replied with a toothy gin. I looked at the battlefield. We were winning. We ran deeper into the the packboard to see more fighting, but it looked like all of it had stop all eyes were on Alpha's and I mean Alpha's. Alex and this Alpha of the Rogues were circling each other. Todd look really feral. I can only imagine the kind of pain that he went through because of his human. I'm the first to admit we are not exactly the smartest creatures in the world. Now if you don't listen to your wolf, who is more than likely smarter than you, your just a down right, Id***t. This fight is going to be great. Both of them look like they are fighting for Evie, who is looking between the two wolves. One who no longer tell is supposed to be a wolf. He's missing chucks and lumps of gray hair, he looks skinny as h**l, and there's tons of slim and slabber coming out of his mouth. Compared to Alex, who is twice the gray wolf's size, he looks heathy, sleek and he's black coat shines even now when the sun is going down. Black eyes that shinned and dull red eyes looking right back. They both circled each other, growling, snapping, and taring to get a piece of each other. Matt had transformed back to his human form as Lucia waved her hand, putting clothes back on him. He laughed but thanked her. Our eyes back at the two wolves I notice that it was just the Alpha Rogue left most of his companions now where either being arrested or has been arrested, I'm also assume the others are dead. I looked back at the fighting just as the Rogue jumped on to Alex's back. "Come On Chase!" yelled Matt, that right my bad. Chase rolled over, slamming the rogue to the ground. Chase latched on to one of the rogues' limps and started repeatedly slamming the rogue on the ground over and over again. "That is enough, Chase," Evie announced. The three of us looked at her in surprise. I growled at her, "No it's not. He killed Mara, r*ped the both of you, caused so much death to everyone and you want him to live!" Evie looked back at me with a look of well, of course, which ticked me off, "Why?" Evie sighed, "Because he may have some useful information on Kara we can use. Once we have that information, nothing will stop us from killing him. I want nothing more for Chase to rip the piece of s**t apart but we need that info." I sighed and got it. I didn't have to like it but I got it. I went over to the two fighting just as the Alpha rogue was shifting back to his human side. I looked him right in the eyes, "Be grateful that some of us are able to think pass from murdering you." I flipped around onto his stomach hard, making him lose the remaining breath he had left, and slamming cuffs on him. "Take this a**hole to the dungeon" I announced while looking at Evie as she was nodding to me, giving me thanks. I shook my head and walked away. My mind tried to comprehend that no justice would be served for Mara, not today at least, and that right there was the s**ts. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Joe running to Lucia, and just barely heard the word, "mine". Well, at least that's something to feel good about, I thought, with a smile.
