Sarah said, “Hehe, Aria, I advise you to be self-aware. Look at your whole body. The word ‘cheap’ is written on it. The Bennett family cannot even measure up to one-tenth of the Cross family. You know very well how you married into this family. How can you compare to mary? The two of you are completely different!”

Aria glanced at Sarah, and then her gaze paused on Sarah’s neck. She looked at the expensive necklace, and said, “Yeah! I’m cheap, unlike you! That necklace is worth tens of millions. Those who know about it know where the money came from. Those who don’t know would think that big brother was embezzling and taking bribes!”

“Impudent!” Old Master Cross said sternly. In just a short while, he was so angry that his entire body began trembling. His eldest daughter-in-law was extremely stupid although she was middle-aged, while his second daughter-in-law was so young, yet so rude.

One was talking about mary john, whom he hated the most, while the other was daring enough to say such outrageous things. It was simply worrying.

Edward’s expression was not too good either. “Aria, seeing that you’re still young, I won’t pursue this matter.” After saying this, he looked at dominic and said, “You’re not young anymore. Take care of your woman.”

Even though dominic’s felt uneasy, he still appeared calm on the surface. He replied, “The same goes to my big brother.”

“In the future, no one is allowed to speak like this at restaurants. In the future, if anyone speaks like this again, they will have to get the h*ll out!” Old Master Cross gritted his teeth and declared. As soon as he finished speaking, the four people who had spoken earlier suddenly stood up and walked out of the restaurant at the same time.

Aria followed behind dominic. She said, “See for yourself. That’s who I am. With me around, your family will not be peaceful.”

“I really didn’t expect you to dare to speak up.” Dominic stopped in his tracks and turned around to say.

“That means you’re not ready to move out, right?” Aria was about to explode from anger. She had deliberately said such outrageous words today to get dominic to move out of the mansion with her. She did not expect this guy to be so stubborn.

“That’s right. Anyway, you’re the one who’s angry at them, not me.” Dominic smiled wickedly. Then, he left the house and got into the car to go to work.

It was over. She had offended everyone. Aria clearly understood this. She returned to the bedroom and locked the door tightly. She sat on the sofa dejectedly.

The more Aria thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt. She missed home. If her parents knew about her experience in the Cross family, they would definitely take her away without hesitation. She had not eaten anything last night. This morning, she was even more hungry. Aria’s tears streamed down her face.

Aria thought that she should not offend the cross family again. She had not meant to infuse so much venom in her tone this morning to argue with Sarah. But unexpectedly, she had offended Edward and Old Master Cross. Her goal had not been achieved yet.

‘I’ll stay for another ten days or so, then I’ll find an excuse to go back to school. I better act more obedient in the coming days!’ Aria thought to herself.

Thus, for the next few days, Aria barely left the bedroom. She tried her best to hide from all the Cross family members. She thought that she could continue hiding like this, but Sarah had humiliated her parents.

On this day, Aria’s father and mother were worried that their daughter would be treated poorly in the Cross family’s home, so they wanted to visit their daughter. Before they came, they had bought expensive gifts. It was their first time visiting, so Aria’s mother was a little embarrassed. She was worried that her words and actions would affect her daughter’s situation in the Cross family. Sarah saw this and scoffed at her.

Sarah received the two guests as the matriarch of the Cross family. When she saw the gifts they brought, she immediately expressed her distaste for them. Mr. Bennett and Mrs. Bennett wanted to see their daughter, so sarah asked the servants to go upstairs and call Aria down. However, Aria was not called down. Mr. Bennett and Mrs. Bennett stood up and left without saying a word.

Aria only found out that her parents had just come when she went downstairs and saw sarah stepping on the gifts that her parents had sent. Aria stood behind Sarah and asked, “Who sent these?”

Sarah snorted. “Hmph! They’re as cheap as you are. Only your parents would give these sort of gifts. I just chased them away.”
