“More than twenty orders?” Aria Cross was surprised. She rolled her eyes. “I didn’t expect to make money after marrying you. This is a pleasant surprise.” She shrugged. “You don’t have to feel bad. I’m just a virgin giving up my carefree life and marrying into the wolf’s den that is your family. So what if my family’s company makes more money? I’ll compensate you by marrying you then.”

Dominic Cross had a new understanding of Aria. As his new wife, she had a sharp tongue. He took a step forward, his tall body gave off a sense of oppression. “Miss Bennett, I’ll remind you one last time. Don’t have any improper thoughts about me. Otherwise... the price will be too high for you to bear.”

Aria burst out laughing, her clear laughter was as melodious as a wind chime. “Mr. Cross, aren’t you being too narcissistic? Do you think I have improper thoughts about you? Dominic’s expression did not look too good after being blatantly despised for his age. I don’t want to hear any words that will ruin the Cross family’s reputation.”

Aria waved her hand. “You’re really nagging about how old you are. Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. If you came to me to talk nonsense, then you can leave.” She did not think that Dominic's would be willing to sleep in the same room as her.

Dominic Cross choked. He really came here with an intention. He came to the new house to show Aria that he was a threat. He wanted to make her stop thinking about certain things. Who would have thought that Aria would despise him in the end?

When dominic left the house, he did not look too good. On his way to the study, he happened to meet the family’s butler. The butler asked curiously, “Young master, shouldn’t you be in the new house at this time? Why are you here?”

In the study, Old Master Cross pointed at the documents and USB flash drive on the table and said to dominic Cross, “You can take what you want.”

Aria Cross had just changed out of her heavy wedding dress. Before she had the chance to wash up, she heard an argument downstairs. She thought about it and decided to go out to take a look because she had heard dominic cross’s cheapskate voice!

“Young master, tonight Is your wedding night. You should be with the young madam. Leaving on your wedding night is bad luck for newlyweds.” The butler had heard from the servant that dominic cross was going out, so he hurried over to dissuade him.

Dominic Cross raised his head when he heard that. He just happened to see Aria Cross smiling and waving at him in her pink pajamas. She mouthed, “Goodbye.”

Dominic Cross was speechless.

Dominic snorted coldly. “See? Aria herself doesn’t mind me leaving. Big brother, don’t meddle in other people’s business.” With that, he walked past the silent Edward Cross and left the Cross family’s old residence.

Edward Cross’s wife, Sarah Cross, happened to see this play out. She looked at Aria Cross coldly. “You can’t even keep your own man on your wedding night. Trash.”

Aria Cross c****d her head and looked at Sarah Cross, who was standing not far away. She knew that this woman was Edward Cross’s wife and Dominic Cross’s sister-in-law. She was not bad-looking and had a good temperament, but she was not very likable.

ARIA CROSS smiled and withdrew her hand. She used Dominic Cross’s words to rebuke her. “You both know what’s going on with this marriage, so... don’t be too demanding. Otherwise, before Dominic goes back on his word, I’ll quit.”
