Aria is Going to Kill Someone

Aria was confused. “I think I’m the one who injured Dennis’s face.” She tugged Sarah closer to verify. “Sister-in-law, who do you think injured Dennis’s face?”

Sarah said, “Who else could it be other than Dominic? He didn’t hit him lightly either. His face is swollen. My heart aches so much.”

Aria suddenly remembered that after she had beaten up Dennis, her husband had called Dennis into the study. So, it was her husband who was bearing the blame. She looked at Dominic, but Dominic did not look at her.

“Sister-in-law, since you want me to discipline Dennis, don’t interfere with my methods. Everything I did was for his own good,” the man sitting on the sofa said seriously.

“But you hit him too hard. Can you try not to hit his face in the future?” Sarah said kindly.

Aria lowered her head guiltily. She quietly retreated to Dominic’s side and then to his back.

Dominic was in a good mood. When he was in a good mood, he would accept the advice others gave him. “Then I’ll be careful next time. I’ll try not to hit him in the face.”

Sarah said, “I know how hard it’s been to educate Dennis. Your brother and I only have one son. Dominic, when you hit him, think twice. Don’t hurt him too much.” Sarah secretly added in her heart, ‘If you want to hit your own son in the future, hit him in the face.’

Dominic said, “I understand.”

After sending Sarah off, the culprit in the bedroom stayed quiet. Dominic looked down at his little wife. “Next time, when you beat Dennis up, be gentle and try not to hit his face. Got it?”

Aria obediently answered, “Got it.” Dominic took the blame for her, which made her favor him even more.

Dominic knew that his wife was embarrassed about what had happened just now, so he did not mention it again. He went to the cloakroom. When he picked up his pajamas, he saw the girl’s things in the closet. He smiled. “No wonder there are so many luggage boxes. There are quite a lot of clothes.”

He found his pajamas in the crowded cloakroom and walked back out. When he saw that Aria was still sitting on the sofa, he said, “Go and sleep on the bed first.”

The larger sofa in the bedroom had been moved away, leaving only the spacious and soft bed. Aria did not argue anymore. She went to the bed. By the time Dominic finished washing up and came out, the little mound on the bed had already fallen asleep.

Dominic sat on the side of the bed, lifted the blanket, and lay down on the other side. He lifted her head and put his arm under her neck, letting her sleep on his arm. He smiled as he moved closer to Aria and breathed in her faint fragrance. “That’s weird. You smell completely different than your toothpaste and body wash. Why do you still smell so good?”

He had never been so close to Aria before, so he did not notice her natural scent. The first kiss was their closest contact, which also allowed him to discover the unique scent she had. He was obsessed with her scent. It was as if everyone spent their entire lives searching for a unique scent that belonged to them, and he had found a scent that belonged to him, but it was coming from her.

The next day, Aria was woken up from a beautiful dream by her husband. “Get up early and wash up. We’re going back to visit Mom and Dad today. You should call them first and ask if they have anything to do today. Also, tell them that we’re going to visit.”

Aria sat up from the bed in a daze for quite a while.

Dominic was already dressed neatly. He looked at his wife’s condition and said, “Wake up and wake up. I’m going to the company to make some work arrangements. I’ll come back to pick you up later.”

Aria yawned and nodded repeatedly. Dominic went to the cloakroom. When he came out, a certain girl was still lying on the bed. Aria hugged the blanket and continued to sleep. One had to know how blissful it was to stay in bed early in the morning! However, things did not go according to her wishes. Not long after she lazed around in bed, she was woken up by Dennis. She was so angry that she wanted to smash Dennis’s head with a hammer. “Your uncle couldn’t bear to wake me up in the morning. What are you showing off for? Didn’t he beat you up enough last night?”

Aria chased after Dennis and tried to beat him up while Dennis ran toward the front of the house. As he ran, he shouted, “Help! Aria is going to kill someone.”
