Chapter Two

1545 Words
There it was, a lizard that ran away immediately when it saw me. I smiled and shook my head, disappointed in myself for getting scared because of a lizard. I walked back to my room and sat down on the wooden chair and barely two hours later, I went to sleep on my bed beside the stranger. I lay down carefully beside him, scared that I would hurt this mysterious man but in no time I fell asleep. The next morning came and as I woke up, I realized the mysterious man wasn’t on the bed anymore. I rolled to the other end of the bed to check if he had fallen off the bed but he wasn’t there. I checked my bathroom and he wasn’t there too. I checked the kitchen and the living room and still didn’t find him. I wasn’t even sure if he had left on his own or if he was kidn*pped. I opened my cabin door and met the mysterious man sitting on my porch looking around the forest. I walked in his direction and sat down beside him. “It is a beautiful forest isn’t it?” I said, trying to start up a conversation with this stranger. “Yes I agree,” he said with a smile without looking at me. “Yeah,” I mumbled. He turned his head to face me and I could feel his eyes piercing on me so I looked at him too. As I looked at him I couldn’t help but admire his sky blue shiny eyes on me. “I would like to thank you for saving me yesterday,” “Oh, it’s no problem. Couldn’t see you lying defenseless on the cold soil yesterday,” I replied to him with a shy smile. Although I enjoyed his company because he was a real prince charming, it didn’t change what I felt towards werewolves. I felt nothing but hatred towards them. They were too violent to have around. As I was about to tell him to leave, I couldn’t bring myself to say it as he looked me in the eye. He took a deep breath as he looked at me, “You know, I was attacked by the same people that killed my father years ago,” “Really? Why do you think so?” I asked with my eyebrows raised in shock. “I’m the alpha of the Silvermoon pack and our rivals have been out for me ever since I became alpha. They want our pack to have no alpha that’s why they killed my dad and want to kill me,” he explained. “Ugh, typical werewolves,” I grunted. “Huh? Didn’t hear what you said,” he said with his eyebrows raised indicating how confused he was by what I had just said. “Oh, I meant why are people so evil,” I quickly said, trying to hide my resentment for werewolves. “It’s tiring, to be honest. What about you? Why are you living all alone in the middle of Crystia forest?” he asked me as he sat comfortably, prepared to hear my story. That’s the thing, my story wasn’t something that I would like to share. It was mostly from trauma from my young age which I didn’t want to talk about. I looked him in the eye as though I was about to say the truth, “You and I share similar stories. My father was killed by our ruthless alpha when I was thirteen and with the help of a friend, I was able to live here over the years.” “That must have been really traumatic for you, at least I had the love of my fellow pack members. You must have gone through a lot staying here all alone without anyone,” he said to me as he put his hand on my shoulder. “I wasn’t really alone, I had an old friend helping me out, I just got used to it,” I said with a little laugh. “Well, I’m happy you had someone,” he said with a charming smile. “Yeah, thank you,” There was this awkward silence between the stranger and me when I realized that I didn’t know his name. “Just realized that you never mentioned your name,” I said to the mysterious man. “Connor. My name is Connor. What about you?” he asked me with a smirk formed at the corner of his bruised lip. “My name is Anna,” I said. “Nice meeting you Anna,” he said as he stretched his hand to shake mine. I heard my stomach growl and I knew it was hunger. I realized I had to prepare something to eat since the last meal I ate was the porridge of last night. I stood up from the porch and Connor looked at me. “Where are you headed to?” he asked me. “I want to prepare what we’ll eat or you’re not hungry?” I asked him, arching my eyebrow. “Well, I can’t lie that I’m not famished,” he said as he rubbed his tummy laughing. “Good. So go inside and rest while I go prepare our food,” I said then took my leave. “Alright doctor,” he said teasingly and watched me as I walked into the house. As I prepared our beans, I couldn’t help but think of how werewolves had ruined Connor’s life. I was also uneasy as I lied about my past to Connor but I didn’t owe him anything, after all, he was a stranger that I had just met the previous night. “Mhm, the food smells good,” Connor’s voice called out from the living room. “Thank you!” I shouted. I served our meals on different plates and went to give it to him. He began to dig in the food like someone that hasn’t eaten for days. “Slow down, you might choke,” I said with a chuckle. He stopped eating and looked at me with a smile, “You know it’s been a while since I’ve had a good meal. So let me enjoy this,” he said then continued his meal. “I’m glad you’re enjoying my food, Connor,” I said then continued eating my food. “That’s not all that I’m enjoying,” he said as he dropped his spoon and looked at me. “Huh? What else are you enjoying?” I asked. “Your company. I don’t know, since I’ve been with you, I’ve been feeling this irresistible pull towards you,” he said as he placed his hand on top of mine. I sat there looking at Connor as he continued to speak about how drawn he was to me. I also felt this same way but there was a conflict in me that got me scared about loving any man, especially a werewolf. I also realized that you live only once and Connor might be my second chance at love, a fresh start. So I decided to confess my feelings to him too. “I feel the same thing too Connor. Since I saved you that night, I have been feeling this electric surge coursing through my face anytime I’m with you,” I said to him, intensifying my gaze. “Exactly what I feel. It’s just as though we are fated to be mates,” he said with a shy smile. “What if we are?” I asked as I moved closer to him staring at his beautiful eyes. He held my chin and pulled me closer to me till he placed his lips on mine. He started to kiss me so passionately and the world seemed to have frozen at that moment. I hadn’t felt this way in years and I didn’t want it to stop. I held his face as we continued to kiss each other, sticking our tongues down each other’s throats. We lay down on the hard wooden floor of my cabin in my living room then he carefully began to undress me. He took off his clothes and the bruises on his chest seemed to have turned me on more. He kissed me from my face down to my chest then to my tummy and finally to my genitalia. He began to suck on it like a savage which made me moan so loudly. Was this a dream? I asked myself because everything felt so unreal at that moment. I was having s*x with a man I had just met the previous day. After the numerous teases, he finally brought out his manhood and it was bigger than I had ever imagined. It was so hard and I knew we were about to have the time of our lives. He pushed his hard rod in me which made me gasp. He continued to thrust harder and harder, making me moan out loud not caring if anyone heard me. As he continued thrusting, he looked me in the eye and stopped. “Will you marry me?” I widened my eyes in shock as I looked at him. “What?”
