Sylvia had mentioned Alice in Wonderland earlier. I never read the book, but I knew enough about it to know she was right. This was very much like that. Fantastic events with me going along for the ride. It turned out that it was all a dream. Is that what was going on here? Was I dreaming? No. I would not allow that to happen. That was just a cheap way out of my dilemma. It allowed me to not do anything. I had to do something. There had to be a way to get down to the ground.
Maybe a sail? I took off my shirt and held it in the air. The wind grabbed at it. Did it change my course? I could not tell in the darkness. I also could not tell if I was going anywhere because I could not see. Where was the ground? Above me? Below me?
