All the knights present in the capital were already gathered at the tournament arena a short distance from the palace itself. Jon and Ferran were escorted there by the older knight who had been training them the past two weeks and some soldiers from the palace serving as guards. From the knights Jon had seen preparing inside the inner sections of the arena, he came to the conclusion that the older knights were not participating in the tournament and only the younger much more energetic and cocky knights were preparing. Some were cleaning their shields which Jon found funny because he never used shields. Some were just now testing the weight and balance of their swords but he didn’t care. If there was something about him he totally believed in, then that was his skill
