George slumped into the plush couch in his sitting room, as the fading evening light cast a warm orange glow through the windows. Across from him, Alexander settled into the armchair, his eyes fixed intently on George's weary face. “Man…you look like s**t,” Alex mused. George narrowed his eyes, his lips pressed into a thin line as he shot him a glare. “You try apologising to your ex-wife who thinks you betrayed and cheated her all those years ago,” he remarked, his voice rising slightly. Alex's expression turned apologetic as he scratched his head nervously. George hissed, tapping his foot anxiously on the cold tile floor. “Yeah, sorry about that. Why don't you try being honest with her about your feelings and past mistakes? Try explaining to her why you did what you did,” He shrugged
