I'm running in the lush green fields taking in the beautiful scenery of sunset in front of me, when I feel water dripping on my face and I groan.

I wake up from my sleep irritated as i glare at my brother Zack, who is standing in front of me with a cup of water.

"wake up El, do you want to be late again? " Zack said smiling.

That's when I realize "s**t!! school" i say, before shooting off my bed running to bathroom.

"Twenty minutes .. come to table for breakfast" Zack said leaving my room.

'school ! It's not like werewolves need to go to school but I'm a special case.'

' so I'm Elina and I'm the daughter of Samuel, best warrior in silver moon pack, my dad is great at fights and training. I have a lovely mother, lara who loves me more than anything. I also have a caring and protective brother, Zach'

'Every werewolf shifts when they turn 14 and find their mates after 16. But when I turned 14 I never shifted, my family thought that I was just a late bloomer and waited for few years. I'm 19 now and doesn't have a wolf. So the pack started seeing me just as a mere human, a weakling and nobody thinks I'm good enough to be with friends them .'

'All werewolves start training after their first shift, but I insisted going to school because it feels good when I'm away from the people here, who thinks that I'm below their standards. It's good to read books and I like school but the part about it is that my school will be over in a few weeks.'

"ELLIE ! breakfast is ready.Come on now" my mother said screaming from downstairs breaking my trance.

I quickly put on my clothes and grabbed my bag and phone running downstairs.

At the table

My father is sitting accompanied by my brother Zach. " Good morning Dad " I said kissing him on the cheek.

I sat on my chair and mom came out with my favourite breakfast.

I looked at my watch and gobbled some food because I don't want to be late again.

Zach and me went out after finishing our food. I hopped into the car and he sat in the driver's seat.

" Did you take your phone with you? " he asked driving the car and I nodded.

"Is it charged?"

"yes."

"Call me when you finish classes, okay? "

"okay"

"stay away from jason"

"Zach!! He is my friend "

" I know. but he is extra touchy with you and I don't like it"

"I'm not a child"

"That's exactly why I don't want to see him near you"

"Please, not this again "

" Alright, don't be mad "

Zach is always extra careful with me as I can't mindlink anyone.

He drops me at my school before going to pack house for training.
