Chapter 2 Mysterious wolf territory

Lily followed the direction of the gray wolf, and before she knew it, she mistakenly entered a mysterious area - the territory of Snow Moon Pack. This territory was surrounded by tall and old trees, the sunlight shed dappled shadows through the gaps of the branches and leaves, but it could not dispel the mysterious atmosphere that permeated this place.
Lily walked cautiously, each step filled with vigilance. Suddenly, a rush of footsteps broke the silence. She looked around nervously, only to see several tall, thickly furred werewolves scurrying out of the woods, instantly surrounding her.
The eyes of these werewolves revealed caution and hostility, and their sharp claws glinted coldly in the sunlight.Lily was paralyzed with fear by this sudden situation, and her heart raced as if it was about to pop out of her throat.
“Who is this? How did you break into our territory!” One of the werewolves growled gruffly.
“Looking at her, it doesn't look like she has any malicious intent.” The other werewolf said, his tone softening slightly.
“No matter what, we can't just let her wander around here, let's take her back first.” The werewolf in the lead made a decision.
Lily didn't even have time to react before she was roughly yanked up by the werewolves, she tried to struggle but realized that her strength was so insignificant in front of these werewolves.
As the werewolves carried her along, Lily looked around curiously. She saw strange symbols carved into huge stones, passages that seemed to be hidden between the trees, and the muffled howls of wolves in the distance, all of which were both new and frightening to her.
Finally, they came to a place that looked like a campground. There was a roaring campfire in the center, and some simple wooden huts were built around it. Many werewolves were busy, some were polishing their weapons, some were exchanging something.
When they saw Lily, who had been brought back by the patrolling werewolves, the werewolves in the camp cast curious and puzzled gazes.
“How did this little girl get here?” An older werewolf asked.
“I don't know, found her at the edge of the territory, ask the alpha what to do with her first.” The patrolling werewolf replied.
At that moment, a much bigger werewolf with sharp eyes walked over, he was the alpha of this pack. The alpha looked Lily up and down and then asked, “Child, why have you come here?”
Lily said with a trembling voice, “I ...... got lost, I didn't know this was your place.”
The chief frowned and fell into deep thought. Just then, the werewolf power in Lily s body that had not yet fully awakened suddenly surged, and her eyes flashed with a strange light.
This subtle change was keenly captured by the chief, and a look of surprise appeared on his face.
“This child ...... seems to be not simple.” The chief muttered.
The other werewolves also began to talk to each other, filled with speculation and curiosity about Lily's appearance.
“Let's keep her under observation for a while and see what's going on.” The chief finally made a decision.
Lily thus stayed in the wolves' territory for the time being. She spent the first day in uneasiness and fear, lying in the humble hut at night, tossing and turning and having trouble sleeping.
The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight enter the cottage, Lily is awakened by the noise coming from outside. She walks out of the house and sees the wolves training, their athleticism and strength both envying and marveling at Lily.
Over the next few days, Lily gradually adapts to life here. She realized that although these werewolves looked fierce on the outside, they were actually kind and warm on the inside. They would share food, take care of each other, and guard this territory together.
However, Lily never forgets her desire to go home. She waited silently for her chance, and at the same time explored the mysterious power in her body.
One day, while playing alone in the forest, Lily accidentally walked into a hidden cave. The cave was filled with a mysterious aura and the walls shone with a strange light. Just as she was curious to explore further, a huge python suddenly sprang out of the darkness and lunged at her with its bloody mouth open.
Lily screamed in terror, and just in the nick of time, a few werewolves from the pack arrived just in time to engage the python in a fierce battle. In the end, they successfully fought off the python and saved Lily.
After this incident, Lily became closer to the wolves. She begins to think that maybe here she can find the answers about her life and her power.
But the thought of going home still lingers in her mind, and she wonders what awaits her in the future ......
