“Quick, Lucela , tell me how far Le Flé is from our exact spot.” He snapped to the Russian man standing beside them. “It’s approximately 3 miles away sir, 10 minutes by car, roughly 20 minutes by foot at a running pace.” He said. There was nothing but excitement on Kwan’s face and confusion on Cyra’s. She began to weigh the options in her head. She had no idea if these men were going to help her or hurt her, she just knew she was going to have to run again. “Did someone help you? Did someone help you fight him off….did you run all the way here?” He asked. “No, I had to fight him myself and yes I ran all the way here because it was the only house I could see.I swear I wasn’t trying to do anything I just needed help and-.”Cyra tried to explain. “So.’’ Kwan said, cutting Cyra off and grabbing her hand to examine it. “You’re telling me you not only broke this man's nose, rib, and jaw but you also ran three miles straight with no break?” Kwan gleamed. “Yes.” Cyra answered not knowing what was coming next, but preparing herself to run. “How impressive, look at this man.” He said pointing to the pasta haired man, releasing her hand. “He is not only badly injured but he is drenched in sweat from chasing you three miles straight. But look at you” Kwan said, scanning Cyra’s whole body. “You don’t seem hurt at all nor do you look tired, not to mention you were about to start running again.” He told Cyra. “I wasn’t about to run, I swear.” Cyra said not understanding how he knew of her plans to take off running. “Don’t lie to me, I can see right through you…you were going to run.” Kwan told Cyra as if he could see right into her soul. “Do you know who this man is?” Kwan asked. Cyra began to slowly shake her head no. “I thought I told you to speak.” Kwan said as he began to approach Cyra again. “No.. No, I don't Know who he is.” She said taking a step backwards. “He WAS the head crime lord of the Eastern Incheon mafia, but now ,well he's nothing. I’m sure he probably underestimated you which gave you the upper hand but he could have at least dodged. He was the best his section had to offer but now look at him…..and to make matters worse you outran him.” He said while breaking out into laughter. “Sir I can explain, you were right I did underestimate her but I can still make things right, and plus I wasn't going to actually hurt her I only wanted to-” The man tried to explain as he again dropped down to his knees. “Shhhhhh no,” Kwan cooed as he squatted down to be face to face with the pasta haired man. “I don’t give a f**k what you were going to do to this girl. I just don’t understand why you would step foot on my property without any formal arrangements.” He told him while playfully smacking the side of the man's face. Breaking the silence the sound of all the men slapping their feet together rang through the air. Cyra looked around and noticed that all the men, even the ones with guns, stood up straight with their feet together except Kwan and the Russian man. “Hello grandma, how did you make it all the way out here?” Kwan asked without even looking behind him. Immediately Cyra whipped her head back to see an old Korean woman who looked to be in her 70’s surrounded by 20 men who were all dressed in suits and carrying shopping bags. “I tapped them on the head with my cane, these boys are no match for me.” Kwans grandmother said with a big smile on her face. “I saw through the window you were out here with a pretty lady so I wanted to come and say hello before we leave. Hello young lady.” She said to Cyra slightly bowing. “H-hello ma’am.” Cyra said with a hit of confusion in her voice but also returning the bow. “Grandma, what do you think of this woman?” Kwan asked as he waved to one of the men, to bring a car. “Oh I think she is very beautiful. I would love to meet her again for tea. She has very good manners.” She said sweetly as she began walking down the stairs in the direction of the car that had just pulled in front. “I’ll arrange that grandma, would you like to go out to lunch before we head to the jet?” Kwan asked her sweetly as she continued to slowly walk down the stairs. “Yes there’s a place I have been wanting to try but they are a bit pricey.” She said as she waited for one of the men carrying her bags to open the car door. “If that's what you want I will take you there, the world is yours.” Kwan said as his eyes followed her until she was in the car and the door was shut. “Was she put in a sound proof car?” He asked as he reached for his gun in his back pocket. “Yes Sir, she was escorted to the bullet and soundproof car, but for extra measure they will pull the car to the front gate.” Lucela told him. “Ummm wait why are you taking out a gun, I told you I didn’t mean any harm I just happened to run here by accident.” “Relax woman, this is not for you. Since I’m sure you will be around more I guess I can inform you , when I am with my grandmother I completely disarm myself from the waist up because she likes to hug and kiss me. I wouldn’t want to accidentally hurt her.” Kwan explained as he had strapped his gun to his ankle. “Look I don’t really understand what's going on here but I really need to be going, I won't tell anyone what I saw happening here but I’m going to leave now. If you are going to shoot me, do it in the back of my head.” Cyra said with an annoyed attitude as she turned to start down the stairs. As soon as she turned her back to Kwan a devilish grin ripped across his face. She is obviously nervous and afraid but she is still able to turn her back to me and walk away with so much pride as if she is in charge, what an impressive woman. “You know what.’’ Kwan yelled from behind Cyra. “I think I'll have her.” He spoke out in the clearest voice, causing Cyra to whip her head around in anger. “What do you mean have me, are you out of your-” She tried to protest, but as soon as she began to speak a black bag was roughly yanked over her head. Without warning Cyra felt the ground come from up under as someone had picked her up and started to walk down the stairs. She tried to swing her arms and legs to get herself free but quickly realized that she had no control over her limbs, the bag they put over her head was drugged and every breath she took in pulled her further and further away from consciousness. She was trying her best to fight the sleep that kept creeping up on her, but she was losing horribly as she felt herself fading in and out. In the background she could hear someone talking about “finding a replacement” for someone and then a man screaming and begging to be spared. The last sounds she could recognize was the loud pop of a gunshot and the sound of a car door being opened in front of her. As soon as she felt her body being laid in a seat she completely faded away into black.
