On the day of the auction, Elena and Charles rushed to the auction site. When they arrived, they saw Sunny sitting exactly where they had hoped, right next to Elena. As they sat down they smiled and said hello but nothing more. There was a tension in the air since the last time they had spoken, it felt as if Sunny had pulled even further away from Elena.
"Tell me if you see something that you like," Charles whispered in Elena’s ear. "And, I will buy it for you."
Elena began to blush, she really was not used to being so intimate with him in public.
She knew they were there to put on a show in front of Sunny so they had to be close but she was still thankful that there weren’t too many people paying attention to them.
The first few items at the auction did not appeal to Elena but when
