That one night

EPISODE SIX.

Catherine was lying in her bed,having a chit chat with her dog ,fluffy ,telling her about how life would have been different if her mom and dad were still alive,then a she got a text from her room mate Amaya .

(Amaya texting )

Amaya : HEY, I FINALLY GOT RID OF IT

Catherine:FOR REAL,HOW WAS IT?

Amaya: PAINFUL BUT WORTH IT,I CAN GO HOME NOW ,MY MOM IS SO WORRIED

Cathrine: OKAY ,JUST STAY AWAY FROM GREG FOR NOW OKAY,HE ISN’T WORTH RISKING YOUR LIFE FOR.

Amaya :SURE,THANKS .

Cathrine got distracted from their conversation due to the sudden noises coming from the living room ,she dropped her phone and went for the stairs to take a peek. The living room was crowded,it was people from Alfonso’s work place,they all came to give him a surprise promotion party due to his bravery on the last mission he went to.

Catherine: “so noisy ,errrr” she groaned and walked towards Suzan’s room.

“Hey “ she called as she opened her door and enters.

“What are you doing all wrapped in bed?” She asked

Suzan : “ nothing I feel sick” she folds

Catherine: “ oh goodness,you’re burning out,do you need water?” She sat close to her ,trying to lift her off the blankets.

Suzan : “ no I’m good,I already had some” she sits up .

Catherine: “what is that ?” She points to the bruise one her arm .

Suzan: “ uhhh.. it’s not “ she lied

Catherine: “ nothing?,suzan that looks painful,who did that to you?” She quarried.

Suzan : “ I just had an itch and I scratched it ,it’s nothing seriously” . Her heart heavy ,the pain in her voice,how’s she supposed to explain that her supposed father did that to her out of anger .

“ what’s all the noise about downstairs “she asked softly.

Cathrine: “I think Alfonso got a promotion “ she frowned “ I don’t know why u are hiding things from me ,but someone did that to you suzzy, if don’t want to share then it’s fine”. She angrily walked out on Suzan and went to her room .

The party was still going on downstairs,Cathrine is still up in her room,Alfonso wouldn’t like it if she goes downstairs,he’s too protective over her and Suzan . She sits close to her window with her dog watching the sunset ,listening to music on her headphones,when suddenly she noticed two men who looked suspicious chatting below her window,they seemed like they were pissed over something and she decides to remove her earphones so she could listen properly.

Man 1 : “ listen to me,if this goes wrong tonight we are done for,hurry up ,take the boys and go over to the Ralf valley hotel,room 110,you miss it and they will come for us “ he groaned.

Man 2: “alright boss ,I’ll do a neat job I promise,this is the only photo you have of him?”

Man 1: “yes ,take it with you ,don’t forget his name Agent Eric Armstrong,don’t make mistakes !!”

Man 2: “Got it “.

Catherine froze the moment she heard Eric’s name ,it then got to her that ,what she just heard wasn’t just any conversation,it was an assassination plot. She quickly wore her dress and dash out of the room,using the back door she too her brothers car and zoomed off to the hotel,there’s no way she’s letting them get there before her.

Luckily she got there before the assassin,and when she arrived at the hotel she noticed their car was right behind her . With haste she pulled over and rush into the reception .

Cathrine: “ I’m here for Mr Eric ,room 110.”

Receptionist : “ oh okay do you mind ,I’ll need to call him first” but before the receptionist took a second glance at her she has already gotten into the elevator.

She arrives at his door and couldn’t get in,luckily a room service agent was around the same floor and she asked him to open the door for her,which he did ,And she went into the room.
