EPISODE FOUR.

Doctor: “ so ,she’s having a mild seizure,due to the head trauma and she’ll need a family concert so we can take her in for an MRI”.

Alfonso: “ doc , this child was abandoned at my door step,I don’t even know her” he puzzled.

Eric: “ what he’s trying to say is ,how can we get a family concert over a child we don’t even know.”

Doctor: “well ,someone has to be her father ,we did some research and this child isn’t from this town,we called authorities,they checked,nothing at all” .

Alfonso: “ you said something,someone has to be her father ,is it possible I adopt her here and now?,I can’t let the kid die please.”

Eric: “ what are you saying?” He looked at him ,eyes widened in surprise.

Doctor: “ I mean she has no family,it’s an emergency,so yes sir ,once you do that,shes automatically your daughter”.

Alfonso: “ bring the papers”. He said staring at Suzan lying helpless on the bed.

Eric: “ Alfonso what the actual f**k?!” He said . “ you want to adopt her ,is that your best option ?.

“ yes it is,I can’t watch this child die.” Alfonso said walking restless in the room.

Eric: “ you could at least go make a report about this ,tell May or someone first “.

Alfonso: “ don’t worry about my mother,she’ll be alright with it “.

The doctor walked in with the paper ,Alfonso took them read it for a short time and signed it.

Few minutes later Suzan was taken to MRI and the results came back with a minor injury on her head,seems she was hit with an object which caused her a mild fracture on her scalp. She was treated and discharged 2days later.

Suzan started a new life with Alfonso and his family,they included her like she was ment to be in that family,she and Catherine happened to have same birthday and it made it more special for Catherine.

5years later ( July 2nd).

Crowd: “happy birthday to you!!!!!!!” They sang in rejoice.

Alfonso: “ here’s to an amazing sister,a lovely daughter, wishing you both the best of life my lovelies ,” he raised a glass to the people and they all drank to his toast.

Catherine: “hey Suzan let go over there and check out presents “.they said in rejoice and dashed to the room leaving the crowd talking and laughing around.

“ do you think Eric is coming?” Catherine asked .Over the years Catherine has an unending love fantasy towards Eric ,she has had this conversation with Suzan so many times on how she wishes to marry Eric ,just cus he bought her a gold necklace on their 12th birthday.

Suzan : “I don’t know ,but he never missies our birthday,maybe work delayed him a little “ she said devouring the present with her name on it.

“ look here it’s from Dad” Suzan added.

Catherine: “ is that the latest version of Frank the God,oh my gosh !! , I’ll read first Suzan please..” she pleaded.

“No Catherine,it’s my present from dad,why don’t you check what he got for you,” she pulls the book back and stands up angrily.

Catherine: “ you know Alfonso doesn’t buy me novels,all he cares about is me getting ready so I can go to a school as a doctor “

Suzan : “ Cathey, I’ll read it first and I’ll give it to you I promise,don’t be selfish “.

“Who’s being selfish over here” a deep voice came from behind Catherine,she felt it in her system as she knew exactly who it was .

Suzan : “Eric !“ , she ran over to him ,giving him a tight hug . “ thought you wouldn’t make it .”

Eric : “you know I’ll never miss your birthdays ,not in this life time”. He walked toward Cathrine,who didn’t stand up to hug him,she’s still sat there frozen in emotion,just busy opening presents.

“ hey, no hugs?” He said placing his hands around her shoulders,smiling .

Cathrine : “ huh, I .. I was erm.. busy ,as you can see” she said ,voice shaking ,still not even looking at him.

Suzan: “ Eric where’s our present” she tries to distract him from the emotional distress of Cathrine.

“ well I brought something very special,according to your hair color and guess what it is”. He said pulling out the two boxes he brought in with him.

Suzan: “ what’s that !” She said in so much joy.

Cathrine turned around ,her attention has been drawn to their conversation.

Cathrine :” whats that Eric?” She added

Eric: “ well come over here and see for yourself”.

Suzan and Catherine opened the boxes with their names on it,and behold the beautiful creature, staring at them from inside each boxes.

Eric: “A red cat for little miss redhead” he smiled at Suzan touching her rosy cheeks.

“ and a black dog ,for little miss dark hair “ he turned to Catherine smiling at her .

They both sprout in happiness ,hugging their new pets .
