This is coach Studer requesting player and one of you, parents, introduce yourself. I want to talk to you about important matters.
Lynx had explained your family situation, and I understand it is difficult for you to attend practices and games, but if you could be at least this time present, preferably 10 minutes before we start, I’ll appreciate it.
I read the message and immediately knew I was in trouble. Coach Studer very likely thought that email address belong to one of my parents, but I was the only recipient there. I would need to start coming up with a good excuse for neither of them to be there, and then later on convince the coach that the likelihood of them coming
